When I decided to make a change, exercise became fun for me again & im motivated once again to move daily because I love it, not because I HAVE to do it!

I did 4 miles of hills & sprints which was HARD today, but I managed to complete my run in 31:45 minutes, a 7:56 min/mile.
I know this is slower for me, but I made sure to really recover during those recovery moments!

Workout done this morning. AAA - focused on arms, abs, and a$$. And I sure do feel it! My whole body is sore from yesterday's cardio, and my arms and shoulders were noodles by the end of today.
Autumn shared something timely for me today, "Sometimes freedom comes from being on a regimen. Schedule your day - your nutrition and exercise. Have a plan and stick to it." This new program is different for me because there is a very specific nutrition plan. I am still using the container system, and actually get to eat more food, but I have to eat certain containers at certain times of day. It is very regimented, thus the need for an established meal plan. Guess work will not work for me right now.
It is easy to want to "buck up" at the structure of it all and say, "no!" But you know what? It has made my life easier these past few days. I know what to eat when, and if it's not on my meal plan, I don't eat it. In all honesty, there is a huge amount of freedom in that. It gives me permission to say "no" to things that usually tempt me and feel good about that "no." Want to learn more? Contact me!

I wasn’t going to say anything about this 🤐 I didn’t want to seem like I’m gloating, I don’t want to annoy people, but in my workout today the trainer, Autumn, said “Don’t apologize for being obsessed.” She went on to talk about people may not understand, people will question you why, why I am eating at specific times and working out at a specific time.🤷🏼♀️
So I don’t apologize for throwing myself 💯 into a rigorous, meticulous program and being obsessed about doing everything to a T. I woke up this morning and was tempted to step on the scale ⚖️ saying “Don’t be disappointed when it’s not what you want to see.” I have only completed 3 full days of the program, and I am down 7lbs! 🎉 I am seeing my muscle definition coming back 💪🏼 So no sorries from me 🙅🏼♀️ for being obsessed about this program and talking about it all the time! I’m feeling so good about making the decision to do this!! 💁🏼♀️
There are many parts and levels to any mental health condition. It isn't a single problem to be fixed, often there are varying degrees of many things that need to be understood and that contribute to the overall picture. Do you feel this is true for you? Some days I’m super motivated to workout, and some days I’m not. Today was one of those “not so motivated” days.
How do I still manage to get it done even when I’m not motivated? My accountability group! I check in with them and see that they are all crushing it, so I decide I have to too!

Reppin’ my “Always Picked Last Athletic Dept.” shirt. I’ve lost 62 lbs in 14 months following #keto and have literally gone to #exercise maybe 3 times. After an inspiring and eye opening time with @jason.wittrock, @stevenlopezcg and @goodybeats this last weekend in Denver, I pushed my Fear aside. 45 minutes of racquetball, about a 1/2 mile walk and 20 minutes on equipment with a friend and I’m still alive, feel great and am ready for more. Overcoming #anxiety is a challenge, but the only way to do it is through it. First workout of many!

Just because you've been well the past days doesn't mean *it* can't strike again.
I remember the feeling of that day, the first time I went scuba diving. I've always loved the ocean, the sea,, but I felt comfortable only when I'm on the surface, like by the beach, wading, or surfing. I also like watching oceanlife documentaries. But really going underwater? Or being in the middle of vast waters? Nope. Not even staying afloat for long! And boat rides? Ohh the fright.
But then that day came that I was basically-dragged to the middle of these waters for a dive. I was kinda excited, as the one who brought me there was SUPER excited, but I was terrified.
We started off from the shore, walking further, bit by bit, and before I knew it, my instructor was signaling that it's time to go up; we've gone 12 meters down without me noticing! Then on the second dive, I was more excited than scared. I mean, I was *still* kinda anxious and paranoid about stuff possibly going wrong, like, the breathing stuff, but by knowing that it's doable, survivable, and actually interesting, one just goes anyway. In anticipation, even.
And today,,, it's been almost 3 days since I was stuck again. Dragged on by circumstances and chained to the bed by anxieties, unable to go out even for my 10 minutes of sun. It took me all day today to finally go out (by 9pm-ish) to grab some sashimi and a drink, and look at clouds and stars, and breathe.
And I felt better. Not too, too much, but better. And rather than sliding back to the quicksand of anxieties, I am reminded that soft, slow, but certain movements is the way to go. It's terrifying, still, but the reminder that 'we've been through this: it's doable, survivable, and actually depth-giving' makes breathing easier to do.
It's a wave. It'll always be a wave, with crests and troughs coming back all the time. The circumstances remain the same, or at least similar, but our reaction -- THAT is what should differ, being better, wiser, stronger, but kinder, each time.
And keep diving, deeper every time. Discovering one more thing each dive.

😁Let me tell you some happy thoughts about taking a rest day from your workout routine or program. 👉You give your body time to #rebuild muscle. 👉You have a day to #relax and #recover ....ya know...take it easy. 👉There's always lighter or low impact exercises you can do if you really feel like your missing out. 👉Or if you think that missing a day will put you behind or throw your motivation away too quickly, remind yourself of the many other activities you do through the day that requires energy or strength. What are yours? 🤔 ❄❄❄For instance, shoveling snow. Yes, did a lot of that this morning. My happy thought at 5:00 am was how blessed I was to have my own driveway and not deal with people shoveling their snow on our property.🐕❄ Also how my dog was catching the snow that I was throwing with the shovel.❄🐕Later, #braving my #anxiety of driving up my driveway, after dropping my daughter off at the bus stop, knowing that I might not make it up the driveway because of ice (which happened before only to put me in an instant panic), I slid backwards and got stuck in a big pile of #snow . Yet again, more #shoveling (#exercise ) to get my car unstuck and a trembling, can't breathe, panicky feeling that I somehow got through. 👉With that said, I still got some exercise, overcome some more "driving in the snow" anxiety later in the day and a call from my work saying I didn't need to come in. REST DAY HOORAY!!! 🙌
Mommying is HARD...
Today, I experienced it for the first time as a part-time working momma.
One reason I’ve never attempted to get a job outside the home was my fear of calling in sick because of the kids... I had to do that today & I felt SO awful for doing so!
Gs been under the weather the past 2 days & even though I was set to work today, I had to make a decision to keep him at home... Thankfully my amazing boss was able to come into the salon early & the babysitter we met this weekend was able to be here with him for 2hrs while i was at work.
It’s stressful & hard to have to overcome anxiety & fears..: but I do LOVE my job & getting outside my comfort zone!
After some meds, I made G go outside to get fresh air & this is what I was able to capture after our almost 7 inches of snow the past 36+hrs!
I also have a goal to run 1000 miles this year & added 4 more today to make my mileage 31/1000! .
Getting all our wiggles out!! Apartment life has been a hard adjustment on us all. The kids just wanna be kids and play and run and jump and be as loud as they’ve always been. .
We are struggling to find a balance of how much is too much noise. The day after we moved in we obviously spent the entire day unpacking and around 7pm the neighbor came up and complained that it sounded like a “war zone” and she could hear the kids walking around since 7:30 in the morning. I was a tad irritated that there was no understanding that we were unpacking all of our belongings and we have an almost 5yr old and a 2 1/2 yr old, 7:30 is sleeping in for them! Ever since then we seem too on top of every noise made by our children. .
Grateful for the kid friendly amenities at our complex, like this playground, but unfortunately we can only use the others as weather permits since they are for summertime fun. If you live in an apartment and have kids, how do you find a balance of letting them be kids and not annoying the neighbors? Tips and advice welcome!!

This pic gave me a lot of anxiety since from every angle my tummy was showing. I am loosing a lot of weight because of my new treatment for hypothyroidism and still my workout can't keep up with making my muscles look tighter. But then I remember that I create this account wanting to record the changes of my body now that I know the condition I have, to push me to have a more steady practice and to show myself to the world, just the way I am so people that are in my situation know they are not alone. Ergo, Idecided to go full front and be fearless, the Amazonian way!!! 🌟
Woke up at 5:30am with a migraine, so I’m getting a little bit of a later start to my day. Heading back up to La Crosse this morning for the final leg of my trip!
On the agenda when I get back is a grocery run, a workout, some household chores, and then work tonight!

I have chosen both, on many different occasions. You guys may have watched my journey how I transformed into a healthy and fit. I worked hard on getting there. Slowly over time, I let eating habits slip up, was doing workouts, but not working the full program. I stopped being as disciplined as I was in the past. And now I love to regret it. .
Luckily, I learned enough discipline from the time I started my coaching journey until now to be able to refocus and and do it again. I’m choosing to live life disciplined for my happiness, my mental wellbeing, my health, to be a better wife and mother. I am choosing to be more selfish to become the best version of myself. .
Choose your pain!
I’ve suffered from severe depression and anxiety.
In my journey, I was trapped in a relationship where I’m not allowed to better myself.
So I secretly do yoga or go for a walk. In those moments I will have enough strength to face my ugly reality.
When I got out of that relationship I carried along with me the baggage of feeling depressed and anxious but now I’m Fucking Free to go for a run to finally feel that I can love myself.
And one of the best way to love oneself is to keep fit and healthy.
Its not too late.
Being the most common mental health condition in Australia, so many of us have been affected at some stage by this dreadful condition.
The feeling of being overwhelmingly anxious for no apparent reason will stop you in your tracks, and can prohibit you from living your best life.
🌿Some tips for dealing with anxiety 🌿
🌻Ground yourself- list 5 things you can see/smell/hear/feel (i can hear the traffic outside, feel the seat i am sitting on, smell the coffee I'm drinking, see the brown carpet)
🌻Slow your breathing, as when your anxious it becomes faster and shallower
🌻Challenge your self talk, try to reframe the situation and look at different interpretations, not just the worst case scenario
