Hello! How have your week been so far?☺️
I hope it has been good and if not, tomorrow is Friday and the whole weekend is ahead😊
I still haven’t put away my Christmas things, or they are in their box but I haven’t put the box back in the attic because it’s heavier now and I’m lazy😝 Do you understand the struggle😜
This is probably the first book collection I had as an adult (it was from my husband’s family for him, so now basically it’s mine 🤷🏻♀️). I didn’t appreciate how stinking cute these tiny books were until I started to really appreciate collectible books. 📚
Which book is your favorite color? 🤔🌈
I’m partial to the oranges, but maybe that’s because I’m reading Madame Bovary right now? (Go figure, the other orange book is also about a home-wrecker! 🙄) 🧡

How often do you read graphic novels? 😊 I really love them, and one of my favorite authors is Neil Gaiman, so here’s a graphic novel with adventures from Death, a very popular character from Sandman!

I just finished this very delightful, odd & funny book. 🍞 🌉
We follow Lois who lives in San Francisco and works at a robotics company & orders takeout every night from a restaurant run by brothers. The brothers suddenly have to move & leave Lois with their sourdough starter.
Lois quickly falls in love with baking bread and learns how unique her starter really is. She learns more about bread and everyone falls in love with her sourdough. She gets involved with selling her bread a very interesting and unique farmers market. 🌉
This book is for bread lovers which hello 🙋🏼 and I enjoyed learning about the art of making bread, the Bay Area life and the robotics company Lois worked for. 🍞
Throughout the first half of the book I fell in love with the quirky writing and how the sourdough starter was so odd that when Lois baked it faces would appear in the bread. By the second half the book took a really odd turn with Lois entering a different type of farmers market and honestly it just got confusing.
So I didn't really enjoy the second half at all. It got weird and just wasn't really my style anymore. Overall I did enjoy this book and would recommend for the aspect of bread baking alone but the second half was just so freaking odd. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars.
If you've read this book please let me know, did you feel the same? different?? #bookstagram

What do you do when you get a bunch of wax tarts from @spireside? You stack them up to make wax towers and candle castles 😍
I also really wanted to smash all the wax tarts together to create a big delicious-scented blob, but the adult in me decided that wasn’t the best idea 🤷🏻♀️
Anyway, if you want to embrace you inner child and buy wax tarts for things other than your wax warmer, I would suggest starting at @spireside. They have the wax melts in every scent that they have their candles so you can coordinate your wax party 👍
And if you use BANDAR10 at checkout you get 10% off so you’re welcome for that 😏
Book 8 of 2018: Forget me by K. A. Harrington.
I started this book not expecting much, but it was recommended to me by a friend a while back and had been sitting on my shelves since I got it about a year ago. I read it in only a few hours (that's how good it was). I completely immersed myself in the story as the main character, Morgan, dealt with her boyfriend's death while trying to figure out the truth behind it all. This book was a page turner, every chapter felt like a mini cliffhanger and the ending was just perfect. I am honestly so glad I picked this up! I'm giving this book 4/5 stars.*
**I need more good mysteries in my life! Go ahead and let me know of any you read and loved**
Good afternoon everyone, I hope you're all having a good day so far! I'm about to start a new book which means my day is going great!
-QOTD: Do you own any signed books? *
-AOTD: I currently own 69 signed books and I'm always on the look out for signed editions or book signings!
Have you read #Thunderhead yet?!? If not please do so!!! Thunderhead is the 2nd book in the Arc of a Scythe Series by Neal Shusterman & it is AMAZING!!
In the first book, Scythe our world has solved so many problems. Hunger, money problems, war and we've even conquered death. In order to control the population & keep it stabilized we have scythes, who are trained killers and kill or 'glean' people at random.
We follow Citra & Rowan who become apprentices to a scythe, a job neither of them wants. They soon learn all about the rules about being one and how hard and full of heartache it is. 📚
Scythe was one of my favorite books of 2017, it was so action packed and also so thought provoking. I finished Thunderhead this month and it was just as amazing!! I highly recommend this series!
Today I partnered with @simonteen to bring you a game of marry, kiss, glean!! Be sure to check out my latest video to see how it goes!!
Be sure to get your copy of Thunderhead which hit stores January 9th!! #bookstagram#scythe#ad

YOU'RE HERE FOR A REASON by Nancy Tillman, Children's Author is now available in board book and it’s just arrived in the shop this afternoon.
It is a perfect size for little hands.
Not only are we loved, but we also matter. In this tender and timeless read-along book, Tillman reminds us of this message in beautiful illustrations as children and animals interact with acts of kindness.
One little excerpt, ‘You're here for a reason. If you think you're not
I would just say that perhaps you forgot. . .
a piece of the world that is precious and dear would surely be missing if you weren't here.
If not for your smile and your laugh and your heart
this place we call home would be minus a part.
Thank goodness you're here!
Thank goodness times two!
I just can't imagine a world without you’
A must have for your wee one’s bookshelf or big one’s for that matter
