Have you noticed a pattern in your life? Like for example, your relationships never work out and for some reason they always seem like a wonderful person at first, but sooner or later the mask drops and before you know it your stuck in a toxic cycle with them, and yet, it feels like you have been through it before... because you have. You may have no luck in love because firstly, you get out of the universe what you put into the universe. If you tell yourself you aren’t worthy of love, you will only attract playas. If you constantly say “I hate my life,” the universe will give you more if what you hate. Every thought you have you are attracting. You attract the things you think of. If you keep finding yourself in relationships that don’t serve your growth, but you keep holding on so as not to be alone, eventually you will drive the person away. Same thing if you keep pushing away instead of communicating. You won’t attract people who will tolerate that because you’re subconsciously thinking “they’re gonna leave so I’ll push them away first.” You think they will leave and they will. Especially if you push them too far. So if you’re sick and tired of repeating the same old tired patterns with the same types of people, and you want something better for yourself, take charge of your thoughts, and get out of your comfort zone. If you usually cling to toxic people so as not to be alone, try letting go of that toxic person and walking away instead. You’ll be amazed at how empowering that is. Or if you constantly push away, try talking. It’ll be an uncomfortable alien concept to you, but it is something you’ll get used to and could actually strengthen your relationship. You decide your fate (the path you choose) to your destiny. Remember what Einstein said; “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” #decideyourfate#fate#humanexperience#learnandgrow#lawofattraction#becarefulwhatyouwishfor
"Ego! That's the root of all evil!" My current song of the moment is "Angelz", by @anatii & @akaworldwide, off their #BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor mixtape/album (it's really hard to tell the difference these days). Anyways, I only really listened to the song attentively recently, and I just had a quick thought I thought I'd share with you guys, #WisdomWednesday , you know? 😅
In the song, Anatii says, "don't you know the devil started out as an angel?/talking loud, busy walking round with a halo", and AKA supplements him later with the line, "ego!/that’s the root of all evil" and that's when it hit me. The devil was once an angel, but his ego is what separated him from God, so much in fact that they are polar opposites.
I'm not here to preach 😅 but the message is simple: technically speaking, the root of all evil isn't money, fame, or cars, it's pride or ego. Though you can link money to ego to the above-mentioned aspects, they are simply effects to a cause. So what is the opposite? Humility. And that's basically what I wanted to say, to encourage you to practice humility once in a while. Listen to someone, a random act of kindness, I don't know. You do. It's all part of the human experience, and you never know how it may come back to help you one day ⏳ That's just my thought for the day, I hope it makes sense to someone out here, enjoy the rest of your week! ✌
All time favourite snapshot of my #niece , made me queue up for the best part of an hour coz she was so excited to see the #minions and she just burst into tears when she got her turn... 😂 no way I wasn't getting a photo of her with them for my trouble, tears or no tears... #oneforher18th#becarefulwhatyouwishfor#gorgeousbabygirl 😍 @benjayjan @hibby2007
Those of you that have been following along with me for years know if something random can occur in any number of situations, it will happen to me. Thanks to my ability to laugh at myself I share them with you. I submit for your amusement #12346 . Today I had to attend a rather long meeting at a school. I excused myself to go to the restroom. The restroom door lock became completely stuck in the locked position. I don’t even like to use a public restroom much less contemplate the idea of getting on my belly to slide underneath the door. After 25 minutes of calling my three coworkers who were with me and texting them. I messaged @indiangunco to email @cas_nc to send Help. After another five minutes and no help in sight I took @jeff_mccracken advice. With one shoe off standing in a bathroom stall I beat a door lock with my shoe until the lock finally popped loose. I said earlier this week I’d just like to get a half hour alone with no one bothering me. Well played God. Well played. #publicbathroom#becarefulwhatyouwishfor#emailsubjecturgent#thanksjeff
