Review: 4/4 - It was a fantastic introduction to aerial yoga. They welcomed you with tea and water and then informed you of the locations of the bathrooms, pigeon holes to store your belongings and change room. After we had all settled in, we received information about the history of aerial yoga, what to expect and then went through any medical conditions for the teacher to be aware of such as motion sickens, hungover or recently undergone Botox.
We then got started. We started with just standing behind the hammock, holding either side of the hammock in each hand and then holding ourselves up. We did this a few times to demonstrate to ourselves and build trust with the hammock that it was going to be able to hold our weight.
It was the perfect balance of getting to know the hammock, stretching, a challenge with some relatively easy core strength work and relaxation at the end.
My highlights: As I mentioned earlier, it was a perfect balance of a challenge, playfulness of just hanging upside down 🤸🏻♀️ and learning. The pace was also perfect and the teachers were very patient. The meditation at the end of the class was perfect, we lied down with the whole body in the hammock. We got to choose whether the hammock was in a swinging motion back and forth head to toe or stationary. A lavender cloth was then placed on our chest and it was actually really relaxing 😌
Overall: I want to give the two weeks introductory offer a go!
So I totally get it, I used to be the girl who talked mad shit about people who promoted only “products”
I used to say, why do people want a quick fix when you have to be about a lifestyle change! And I still 500% believe that. But I also believe that when you find something that can seriously help people, exactly right where they are in their lives and make it easier for them to make a lifestyle shift, why not bring that to people who truly need the help! Not everyone can complete a 30-60 day intense workout program straight out the gate! Nor can everyone mentally shift from giving up all the foods they grew up eating for the past 20-30 years to eating salads and shakes for every meal. I get that!
That’s why I started talking about ketones. Therapeutic ketones won’t be the answer to all your problems but for me, it gives me ⏺more energy ⏺better concentration ⏺less brain fog
⏺helps with cravings ⏺helps my body burn fat for fuel and not glucose
It’s not hype, there is science behind this stuff and how it helps your body function better down to the cellular level! And yes it’s safe for breastfeeding (I know I’ll get a comment or message about that!) because babies are actually born into ketosis.

Rachel has been a cheerleading and tumbling coach since 2012 and has 15+ years’ experience in the sport. She first found yoga while cheering in college and fell in love with the inner strength she found through her yoga practice. As she continued her yoga journey, she felt compelled to learn more about the physical and mental benefits it has to offer. This led her to enroll in a 200 hour training program to become a certified yoga teacher. Her goal is to share this amazing practice with as many people as she can, no matter their age or experience, so they too can feel the love and strength that yoga has to offer.
Rachel strives to incorporate unique and fun flows into every class so that each time you come to your mat with her you will have a special experience.

It's Monday. & that means it's time to get back on the grind. Something I struggle with is letting my fitness and health needs not be a priority on the weekend. However on Monday I've always been good about getting back on the grind. I have a great group of girls who help me stay accountable and I'm looking for more. We can help each other! If you want to be apart of a group of girls who help each other stay accountable not only to doing your workouts but staying on top of your health. Then MESSAGE me! The holidays can be extremely stressful, with travel, cooking, lots of energy exchanges with friends and family. Check-in with yourself and be mindful of your mental state and emotions and feelings that come up during this holiday week. Take some time for yourself to avoid getting swept up in the chaos. When you are at peace you are more open and receptive to enjoying spending time with friends and family. Whether you come to a class with us, meditate, practice at home, get a massage, take a bubble bath, paint your nails, etc make sure you take some time for yourself and practice some self-care. .
Please note the studio will be closed for most of this week (our schedule is updated on our website) so practice with us while you can. .

My family lived paycheck to paycheck. Always worried about rent, worried about food. My dad worked hard everyday. If he had a day off from his job, he would pick up odd jobs on his day off. I feel so thankful that my husband and I are in a position that we can take days off and have vacations without worrying. I’ve come to realize that breaks and days off are so important for health. And while I’m at it, I’m thankful that my dad worked so hard to make sure my sister and I always had food, clothes, and a place to call home. ❤️
