F R I Y A Y 〰 all smiles today because it's Friday whoo 💫 but I'm sneaking in a frown today because this morning didn't quite go so awesomely. My bf and I got a flat tire on the way to work... and then our spare tire was flat too hahah 🚗 but life throws ya lemons sometimes 🍋 we had a little fun changing the tires, and then being rescued by AAA 🙏🏼 so thankful the situation wasn't any worse than it was (it deflated while on freeway)! But seriously, so happy glad it's Friday because I'm ready for the weekend 💖have a great day guys! xoxo, tvo
On the approach to the New Moon eclipse I'm finding the need to withdraw more from crowded places. My payday shopping treat was substituted with a walk in nature and working from a local cafe. -----------------------
It's important that if you're feeling off-balance during this time to honour yourself and your energy. To do this, really is an act of self care and self love. Both of which are the very basis of manifesting and experiencing life with more ease, love and grace. ----------------------
So, during this time take yourself self-care seriously and....... 💖 Step back if you need to. 💖 Say no to others and yes to you. 💖 Ground yourself. 💖 Be in nature rather than on Oxford Street or in Westfield.
💖 Drink plenty of water. 💖 Journey within through meditation or journaling.
💖 Release what no longer serves you through intention, energy healing or a burning ritual.
💖 Re-Connect to the vision of what you want to manifest.
All of which prepare you for calling in what you want on what is being dubbed as very powerful new moon.

It's Friday!!!! How was your week?
This morning I didn't rise and grind to a workout due to my current slight setback. I got messages from friends last time encouraging me to take the time this week to rest and rejuvenate and while I admittedly struggle with that I am really going to try and embrace it.
Just because you are forced to take a time out from your workouts doesn't mean you derail on all effort.
Don't throw that proverbial towel in.
I am still fasting, but instead of going 16 hours today I am going to go for 18 and make sure my eating choices are healthy.
Control what you can control. And you can actuality control more then you think you can.

Yes...love this!!! As much as I love coffee, I love God even more. My fuel is His word first thing in the am and throughout, what gives me physical energy is high nutrient dense food first thing in my day and throughout. Even on those days I don't get much sleep. It still happens with a toddler and kids. I have so much energy in the morning when I'm eating the right things. Not only do we need spiritual Nourishment but our body needs it to. I used to depend on coffee every morning, when I should have been putting my full dependence on Him and eating better. #mindblown#lifechanging#begoodtoyourself#makesmallchoices#keepitreal#Godisallineed
This makes perfect sense and it really resonated with me too.
Not ‘if’, but when something happens to me, I usually dwell on it and replay all the different scenarios in my head. Things that I should have said and should have done so that the outcome would be different. But it never happens that way and I end up getting mad at myself because I wasn’t quick enough to respond in a better way. This constant tug of war with myself only makes me feel worse and stressed!
Everyone blames sugar and carbs for weight gain but, you know what? The truth is that it’s STRESS!! When we are stressed our blood sugar increases, our blood pressure increases, cortisol (the stress hormone) increases plus a whole host of other things. The outcome, for most of us, is that we turn to food for comfort. I do! We’re not drawn to anything healthy like salads or veggies in order to make us feel better. It’s sugar and carbs that we crave! And another thing – stress doesn’t play favorites and affects ALL age groups, men and women!
The answer sounds simple enough – reduce the stress. I know, easier said than done! It takes practice. Start by doing something that you enjoy and that calms you, like listening to music, reading a book, exercise, painting, quilting, meditating – something for you and that puts you in a better place. ❤️Once you start taking care of yourself in that way, you will start to see a difference and feel more in control, more at peace and will be able to put things behind you and accept that whatever was upsetting you, is over.
My ‘go to’ is yoga. When I feel stress start to take over, I take a deep breath and try to let it go. Does it work for me all the time? No, but I’m working on it and trying not to let things bother me, accept things and just move on. ❤️ I’d love to hear from you! What is your release and how do you manage your stress?
