We literally sat there for 30 min...debating whether or not to work out lol...due to no AC in my classroom.

Whether or not you're aware of it - your body is trying to tell you things all the time. It carries, holds on, and feels EVERYTHING! I was reminded of that again today. Yesterday I was triggered by someone that I haven't seen in years showing up again in my life. This person made choices that honestly screwed me and my financial situation up GREATLY ! To the point where I'm STILL paying for it now and the events occurred about three years ago now. And the minute I saw this person my body froze. I thought I was going to vomit and the weird thing is that my legs HURT! So badly! Which was a new awareness for me. I'm very in tune with my body, but that was a new reaction - even for me. Then this afternoon I was reading "Chakra Yoga" by Alan Finger and read a section about how your body conscious, subconscious, or unconscious holds energy in different places. If you think too much your head and neck will be stiff. If you're hurting emotionally you'll feel it in your heart and stomach. But if your unconscious body is feel stress or under attack you will feel it behind your legs. INTERESTING! 🌟 It's crazy the things your body can do for you. Every day I take time to connect and check in. Multiple times even - and it's yet another reason I became a BARS facilitator and have my BARS done. It's a game changer - and the more aware you become the more your world opens up. And no - it's not always easy, or comfortable. Last night my husband told me I was a beautiful woman who he is still very attracted to. He didn't end our relationship very well, but I think with some honest conversation we're on the same page now. And I'm ok with him wanting to be alone in his life. I couldn't handle that long term, so... Each day throughout the last 10 days when I hopped on my mat I was SO motivated to pay attention to the little things. I read each one of those picture tutorials by @omniyogagirl 🔍 and had Instagram open with them during my practice. Today I watched the video by @cece.carson 🎥 at least twice to see where she put her heels in these poses. And my "title-pose" is clearly inspired by @helen_garner_yoga 💭
Thank you, teachers. 👩🏫👩🏫👩🏫 I know how hard it is to teach kids to hold their pencils correctly after six years of wrong practice. Not to mention all the legs and arms and hands and heads and backs the three of you have been correcting the last few days. You have definitely changed stuff as far as I'm concerned ... 😬👍
