⭐️ This month I’ve started following the #Kizen Infinite Off-Season programme from @silentmikke and @omarisuf. Very interesting, self regulated programming. Training 4 days a week with frequency 2 for the main movements.

Bench press is definitely not my favorite.  Before I started powerlifting, I didn’t really press with a bar.  I did chest presses with dumbbells, and the most I could ever use we’re 50s.  Today I pressed 105 for 6 x 3.  I was seriously struggling on the last couple sets.  Lots of accessory work on triceps too.  My poor arms were shaking like crazy!  I just keep telling myself it will get better.  Little by little. 😉

💪 I got bitten by the powerlifting bug a few months ago. My recent wrist injury and other related developments put me in the search for a new place where I can get better at this sport, focusing my training in improving the three main lifts and becoming competition-ready for next year.

✅ Today I had my first session at @bethnalgreenwlc. I found a place for serious training open for people of all ages, genders and shapes, filled with dozens of medals, trophies and awards won by their many local, national and international competitors.
