Day 6 of #SuperSymmetry is #Eggstand .
This pose usually drives me nuts! Today I was able to find balance pretty quick 🙌 I played with some other leg variations... I can say that knees together and feet wide makes a W, it's also not very attractive (at least for me) 😂
Happy weekend yogis! I spent my Friday evening working into one of my favorite melty movements.
It begins as a chin stand then softens down onto the chest as my legs bend and my feet reach toward my head.
Side note: this is not something I just pop into casually, the first bit here is part of my warm-up sped up times two and a half. I haven’t always been the best about warming up my body before playing with tricky postures, and I’ve paid the price with injury in the past because of it.
Nowadays I’m much more careful, giving my body the time and patience it needs with mindful warm ups before pushing my limits and exploring new space.

I’m aware that it’s unlikely I will see equality for race, gender, sexuality or social class in my lifetime, but that doesn’t mean I’ll stop fighting. I’ll continue to speak up even if you’re tired of hearing me and continue to have the tough conversations and acknowledge my own privilege and together we’ll keep marching, year after year.

Upside down time just got wayyyy more fun... I was trying to figure out of this is an inside or outside leg hang.. It's an outside leg hang (thank goodness for @cleosrocknpole_online )

I know you're supposed to feel good, but everytime I told myself I was going to uplevel my life, I was going to feel good, I got stuck on one point
HOW? How do I go from "everything sucks" level of gloom😔😔😔 to "unicorns and rainbows, lalalala, puppies everywhere" kinda bright happiness?
Well first, I decide. Or you decide. We decide. That it is not worth it to stay stuck, to stay unhappy, to stay gloomy. Trust me, it's not worth your precious time and energy to secretly be totally jealous of that girl 💁who got hot and her life's now magically together or that other one👰 who's getting married to the best guy (or even any guy, at least she's found someone)
You decide that you are gonna get on that pole, on that mat, on the dancefloor, on the beach, on that date, whatever it takes to make you feel happy, feel good
Maybe it means playing with some puppies (or watching someone else play with puppies). Maybe it means doing something nice for someone else. Being generous or being kind. Maybe it means passing smiles across to those you can see need it. Feel good for the sake of feeling good and everything starts working out for you. And me. We're all the same. .

I'm confused about the whole flipped grip in this pose 🤔 I feel like bow with a flipped grip is an entirely different pose for me. I opted to do exactly what I did last year. I still needed to start with some wheel support, but this year I actually felt myself come off of the wheel. I honestly had no idea how I did compared to last year until I put them together ❤

I never would have thought that this challenge will make one of my dreams come true. I always wanted so bad to practise acro yoga with my partner but I couldn't persuade him no matter how hard I tried. Even when I thought I managed I was left with "Ok ok someday we will try I promise" but you all know how it always is with this "someday". But this time to my surpsise I didn't really need to encourage him. He was happy to help me cause he new why I chose this particular challange - I adore those inspiring hosts and I've been following them for a while now. You (hosts) may don't know about this but for some of us you aren't just inspiration - you have a huge impact on our lives. For me challanges give so much satisfaction knowing that some of my biggest insiprations may have stop for a second and notice my existence.
So here it is my favourite photography so far. My boyfriend has nothing to do with yoga (well but that will change ❤ ) and It was our first practise. I don't know how It happened but I trusted him right away. He was more scarred about my life than I was haha. I was planning to do some simple pose but I felt so secured and this one just came out naturally. I guess if you really love someone then trust comes in package.
