I came home with many Japanese products and new bentobox(^^) 一昨日大量の日本製品とともに無事アメリカに戻りました。現地でも調達できるけど色々買ってしまいます。
Kids won’t be able to resist these bite-sized Buffalo Chicken Pinwheels! Add celery & carrots for an added crunch. Bonus: these are awesome for game day celebrations! (link in bio) http://bit.ly/2vPqDAm
Today's #bentobox legit almost had pb&j but I didn't have any bread 😂😂 see a week in and I have a late morning and am like ✌️ I'm out hahaha
But instead they got quesadillas with apples and blackberry jam. Which actually sounded pretty yummy. And the chocolate covered pretzel sticks from this weekends baking. I'm almost positive at least one child won't like it 😂 #lunch#eathealthy#fromscratch#scratchbaking#noididntmakethetortillas
1,000 Yen Meals Day 5: September 21. I’m still doing this. Apparently you gotta eat to survive. How ’bout that? Speaking of, here's what I ate:
▪️スーパー Veggie Bento Sampler: ¥257 (original price ¥322)
▪️Noodle Dish With Green Thingy on Top: ¥420 ▪️Sweet Potato Taiyaki: ¥216
💱 Grand Total: ¥893
✅ Money Leftover: ¥107
Not to brag or anything, but I’m getting good at this. Got me a good deal of food today and yet I still managed to end up with money leftover. A winner is me! And unlike some of my other days, I really enjoyed all the things I nommed.
In particular, that veggie bento sampler was not only tasty, but it also had a nice variety. But the best part? Discount, of course! Can’t forget that.
The noodle dish was a little one note, but it was super filling. And that sweet potato taiyaki? Oh, man… Sooooo good! Best bite of the day, for sure. I can see me going back for more of those. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, taiyaki are fish-shaped waffle cake thingies that are usually filled with tasty treats (ex: red bean, custard, sweet potato, etc.). Totally worth trying if you ever find them out in the wild!
Aight. That’s it for today! See y'all あした!
