Ben & I went on a beautiful hike yesterday. We had a late start on the way back. It was cold and dark. When we reached our vehicle, it wouldn't start. We did not have phone reception. No one was around. Thankfully we had an emergency blanket in our car. Freezing, we cuddled, stuck in survival mode. We tossed and turned in the back of our car all night, freezing cold x 10 hrs straight. At sunrise we heard a car, we asked for help. Within minutes we were back on the road. This really tripped me out. It taught me to be more humble, more caring, more appreciating, more thankful. It made me feel rich. I have everything I need. I need no more. Most ppl will never resonate with how incredibly lucky you are to have a hot shower & cozy blankets. I'm super thankful for life lessons that help me gain a full circle outlook on life. It can happen to you. #pnw#fallhikes#besthikes#imalive#hiking#outdoors#shehikes#pnwbabes#chooseoutdoors#optoutside
Alpen glow from Trail Camp at Mt. Whitney at 12,000 ft. Plenty of marmots to keep us warm in our tents with the high winds and temps in 30s⛺️❄️🐿🏔..not sure if I’m a cold weather camper😩but breathtaking nonetheless.
That time our amethyst stalactite took and amazing hike in Switzerland 🇨🇭 😍
