*A letter from Sunset to Sunrise*
I wish I could meet you someday,
early morning over a warm cup of tea
Just one old man,
Wanting to ask a young boy like you,
What exactly does it feel to be you?
I was once there, but now memory has dimmed.
How beautiful are the sunflowers, can you tell me please?! I would have asked
to throw some light
in my garden
so I can watch kids play
By the time I arrive, it's usually time for them to go home.
I would have told you to warm my bones.
Then take me to a phone.
Would have made a call to the west,
and told them I shall be late. 'I am with Sunrise, it's an unsual date'
But that ain't going to happen.
Cuddling in blankets I can only dream,
of warm breakfast tea, with just you and me. °
° * A letter from Sunrise to Sunset* ~
I wish I could meet you someday.
When all work is done, over some cookies and cool lemonade.
Just one tired young man
Wanting to ask
A wise old man like you
What exactly does it feel to be you?
I will be there too one day,
but patience is something I barely know.
How beautiful are the fireflies tell me please?! I would have asked
to give me some shade
in my garden so I can catch some sleep.
By the time I arrive, the kids start to play;
keeping me awake all day.
I would have told you hide me in your darkness.
Then took you to a phone
asked you to make a call to the east
and tell them I shall be late for work 'I am with sunset, do not disturb.' But that ain't going to happen.
Sweating in heat, I can only dream,
of cookies and cool lemonade, with just you and me. °

You ask me, "Are you fine?" I say "Yes, I am fine"
But what stays unsaid between us, is this.
Yes, I am fine.
As fine as the thinest pasta sheet that feels the pressure of being perfect, extending and oppressed under the rolling pin; no choice to break, no option to crack, just go with the flow. Fermented over time, to become tough, has transformed itself from just water and dough.
As fine as doctor’s needle that innocently pricks, to get just few drops of blood, to make you well. Ironically in how many days you may die, also lies on its tiny shoulders to tell.
As fine as the sand that sieves through the gaps of your fingers, as you simply let it flow. As in silently screams 'Don't let me go!
Don't let me go!
Don't let me go!' As fine as the thin silk thread that is delicate and pretty yet strong; so strong that it is sewed and pulled and cut and knotted, without any compassion. It won’t break but it feels the pain, pain that then becomes the new fashion.
As fine as the strings of water of a waterfall, frozen mid way, looking mesmersing to the eyes unaware of its stalled suicidal plans.
As fine as the delicate, beautiful, colourful wings of a butterfly, that can disintegrate under the softest touch of tiniest hands.
As fine as the ray of light at the end of a tunnel, when that end is way too away.
As fine as the line between optimism and denial; “I am fine” they both may say.
As fine as the cracks in the mountain rock.
Growing wider as we talk.
As fine as this strand of long blonde hair, that made way to our bed while I wasn't there.
You ask me "Are you fine?" while I hold this hair that pricks my heart?
So fine and so soft, yet lethal enough to break us apart?
this ain't the first, this ain't new
and now I have lost the will to fight for you.
"YES, I AM FINE. THANK YOU" °

We met we fought
Unknown with the fact that
We were equally wet ;
With love ! With separation !
Was it over there?
Was the ending sad?
Not at all !
We made it clear.
Sown the seed of friendship together .
We became friends forever .
Her truthful eyes could gaze my sighs
Thus became our belongingness
Now , we are thoughtmates ;
What she dreams , I dreamt it once
What I dreamt , She dreamt it once
That's how we got close
unknowingly ... unexpectedly ..
" She is my ex ' s love "
Was fate " she is my long distance bestie "
Isn't it great?
