Loving how @mybetter_self shared her heart here: 👇👇👇 This is not something I'm used to posting. I've shared on this account my journey to my best self.
☝🏼But gaining muscle is not an easy task ! You need to bulk - lifting heavy and eating at a calorie surplus for several months. This is what I did from August, 2016 to April, 2017.
Yes, I gained muscle mass. BUT I've also gained fat - you can not only build muscles while bulking. And you have to accept to see your body change
⚡️It has not been easy but you won't grow without challenging yourself. However, in order to lose the visceral fat I inevitably gained, I started a cut on April 17th - till June 19th. Just eating slightly less (vid on YouTube), moving more, and trusting the process
⚠️ I'm not saying we need to eradicate all our body fat. I won't even go to a very low body fat percentage - because my health matters more than the way I look. Do it for the good reasons 💞
To all the beautiful ladies out there (and that's all of you! ❤️💪), those stretch marks are signs of beauty and strength. No need to be ashamed. Love yourself more! --

First day back to the grind and MAN DOES IT FEEL GOOODDDD! 😭😭✨✨
I’ve sat down all day to crank out coaching application calls, create/upgrade new documents for my clients, check in with my team, game plan my new weekly newsletters, create some goals, and edit a vlog for YouTube.
I have this fire in me right now to go BEYOND the call of duty to help others create their best selves, and it makes me so happy to hear from my clients weekly telling me that I’m helping them do just that. 💪🏽💙
Subscribe to my YouTube for the finish of my Road to Boise series (new video M, W, and TR!), and be sure to subscribe to my newsletter on my website for “Workout Wednesday” starting this week -> only the tip of the iceberg for what’s coming, because FitGuide 2.0 pre-launches December 26th and enrollment for my New Years Challenge is in my bio.
There’s no better time to get after it than now, LESS GET IT FRIENDS! #proud
P.s. welcome to my 50k giveaway week, turn on my post notifications so you don’t miss an opportunity to win some free shtufff 🤷🏽♀️🔥🙌🏽 and be following me.. or else that’s awkward.

Today has been an off day for me, so a clean house, puppy snuggles, and Home Alone is what the doctor ordered❤️🎄☃️
I hope y’all are having a great and safe Saturday😊 Remember that it is always okay to have off days; tomorrow is a new day and a fresh start❤️
Stating the week right! Yay #deadlifts
My own #mondaymotivation because I know how hard I work for it.
120kg/~265lbs 3x6 sumo #blockpulls
Second video is for those who ask what kind of cardio I do. Sets of 15 at 60kg and 12 at 80kg (shown. had to stop for slippery hands. they would have been speedier had I used chalk for that set). Fasted cardio nonetheless!
I’ll make a post on why I don’t do traditional cardio and why the same thing may or may not work for you. Let me know if you are interested.
When it’s Monday, but you still want to be here...☕️💤
Happy Monday. Taught am class an just finished monday morning emails or walking uphill until I die as it’s sometimes referred to. The first 30 minutes fly by..then, blah.
Tell me you have more exciting things planned today! I didn’t get to go climbing this weekend and my body is craving it..
This is a reminder. You are capable of so many things. You just need to push through the next 17 days. I know you are uncomfortable. I know you are hurting. I know you are tired. BUT you will finish strong because that is what you do. And you will come back strong because that is who you are. You are a fighter. You are stronger than any excuse. You have already been strong through 256 days of this journey. Only 17 days left till you get to meet your great accomplishment, your son.
It’s mind over matter. One day at a time. You’ve got this momma.
Never miss a Monday!
Did you know that people are most motivated to take control of their health on a Monday? Looks like there’s no better time than today to stop by @functionalfitcharlotte, and get started.
Motivation Monday : follow your fucking heart and screw what anyone says ✌🏼

Goals take you beyond your limits to a world of unlimited power.
When we first set large goals, they may seem impossible to achieve. But the most important key to goal setting is to find a goal big enough to inspire you, something that will cause you to unleash your power.
The way I usually know I’ve set the right goal is when it seems impossible but at the same time it’s giving me a sense of crazed excitement just to think about the possibility of achieving it. In order to truly find that inspiration and achieve those impossible goals, we must suspend our belief systems about what we’re capable of achieving.
Words from Awaken The Giant Within, Tony Robbins.
I say... Amen. 🙏🏻 Go set goals to unleash your unlimited power. Now!
Love yourself first. You must be your own soul mate first before you will ever truly find your real soul mate.
I’m just here trying to build some wings😏
Unfortunately... I got stuck at work about 3 hours longer than I was supposed to be there 🙃 My plan was to go to the gym as soon as I got off because there is a 24 Hour Fitness right next to where I work. But that didn’t happen. So tomorrow I will go in. Since I’ve missed a couple workouts, I will probably do a full body workout tomorrow and get right back on track after that!💪🏼

Love this from @bodysmartfitness on using MyFitnessPal 👍👍. If you are new to using the app, check out these 🔥tips ⤵️
Ⓜ️ How to get set up on MyFitnessPal Ⓜ️
One of if not the best food tracking app out there. However, a lot of people do get themselves set up wrong 😯 .
Now even though MFP is a great app, it does have a few flaws and things you should do manually. Below are 6⃣ hints and tips we recommend doing when using the app.
1⃣ Workout your own calories and macro-nutrient intake and manually input this yourself. There are a ton of calculators you can use to work out your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure). Failing that, hire a coach to do it for you 👨💻
2⃣ Aim to be hitting 1g of protein per pound of LBM (lean body mass; your weight subtracted by your estimated body fat).
3⃣ Don't track your exercise & steps through the app; you should have already accounted for this on tip 1 👌
4⃣ Make sure you're looking at the nutrients page and checking your macros as well as your calories throughout the day.
5⃣ Pre-plan your food diary for busy days. No one wants to be coming home and eating chicken breast on its own or egg whites because you've not eaten enough protein.
6⃣ Track before you eat. If you can't pre-plan your food then at the very least track before you eat. You'll be shocked by just how much is in everything and it will stop you getting to dinner time having 78 calories left.
