You don’t get what you wish for, you get what you work for🖤 if I had a dollar for everytime I was asked “how do you look like you do? How long did it take you?” Touching on a few things I’ve been DM’d several times recently. I am 25 years old. I am 5’7 and currently weight 151lbs. If your looking for thong booty pictures you have come to the wrong place, sorry to disappoint but that’s not my style🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m proud of my body but not about to be on the gram like that. Well, I have only been seriously lifting/powerlifting for pushing 2 years now but I’ve always been athletic and played sports. As far as how do I look the way I do.. it’s not 100% genetics as much as I know people would love to chalk it up to that I actually work really damn hard to keep a strong body that I’m proud of. I spend hours in the gym sometimes, I’m there everyday of the week minus my off day, I count every last macro that goes into fueling my body. I drink over a full gallon of water every single day. Yes, mama likes to eat and my drug of choice is a donut, but throughout the week it’s a pretty strict, same meals kind of diet. There isn’t a magic pill that you can take, it takes patience, being dedicated to yourself and staying focused. Less strain on my back because I can't arch my way up and compromise position for power. AND they are damn hard. You can absolutely never become 'too strong' for pike HSPUs, ring rows and bodyweight movements. The reps just get higher and the tempo gets slower. Love me some ring rows. Those were key in developing the kipping muscle up for me. And I still do them often! Ring DIPS I do not like so much 😒 lol. @kegandillon

I don't spend my whole day in the gym, even though I do 2-a-days frequently, I make it work and fit into my schedule. The excuse "I don't have time" is not a valid one. 😊

I know some of the busiest people and they make it work. It's something you have to make a priority, if you want to make a change.

This goes along with dieting and making sure you have meals to eat during the day. I sure as hell don't feel like cooking or preparing food after a long day, but I suck it up and do it anyways. Because I know it's what I have to do to get where I want to be. I make sacrifices.

#25weekspregnant and starting to feel it. This week has been crazy with a bit of hip pain and mood swings/tiredness. I had a really good week last week feeling energetic, I may have overdone it and paying for it now? I’ve still managed to get to all my early morning #CrossFit sessions this week, even if I was cranky when the coach asked me.. at least he was aware 🤣 my aim was to just move and release the day before soreness. Achieving that so far! .

Today’s #wod was 15 rounds for time, 6 thrusters, 20 Double unders. I just used the 15kg bar and worked through it steadily taking breaks when I needed them. Rule of thumb with Double unders - wear a supportive bra, pee before hand, hair must be braided 💪🏼 #betterthanyesterday .

I haven’t taken many side photos, they always look the same, no bump 🤨 but this is all changing over the next 14 weeks 🙃

Took updated pics in the same outfit and so happy I did. The pants were so tight in the 1st I could barely get them on... now they’re loose and have a big gap in the back of the waist. The shirt was stretched so much it was see thru (note the undershirt), now it’s so long I could wear it as a nightgown (SWIPE to 3rd pic!).
About a month after the “after” photo, I started KETO. That’s the difference between last year and now.

It is nice to be training for health & fitness rather than racing. 
I've been having moments where I feel like I've disappointed myself and my Coach not giving short course triathlon a good crack this season. But my head and my heart weren't in it. 
I put an immense amount of pressure on myself to perform (in sport and in life), then beat myself up when I'm off. This has taken the fun out of training and racing. 
2018 I will be working on my headspace while having FUN achieving my goals.
Enjoyed a fun spin around the track this morning. It is nice to be training for health & fitness rather than racing. You don’t get what you wish for, you get what you work for🖤 if I had a dollar for everytime I was asked “how do you look like you do? How long did it take you?” Touching on a few things I’ve been DM’d several times recently. I am 25 years old. I am 5’7 and currently weight 151lbs. If your looking for thong booty pictures you have come to the wrong place, sorry to disappoint but that’s not my style🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m proud of my body but not about to be on the gram like that. Well, I have only been seriously lifting/powerlifting for pushing 2 years now but I’ve always been athletic and played sports. As far as how do I look the way I do.. it’s not 100% genetics as much as I know people would love to chalk it up to that I actually work really damn hard to keep a strong body that I’m proud of. I spend hours in the gym sometimes, I’m there everyday of the week minus my off day, I count every last macro that goes into fueling my body. I drink over a full gallon of water every single day. Yes, mama likes to eat and my drug of choice is a donut, but throughout the week it’s a pretty strict, same meals kind of diet. There isn’t a magic pill that you can take, it takes patience, being dedicated to yourself and staying focused. There is no better advice I can give a person than stop making excuses and start making some goals. Start doing it for yourself because no one else will. 📷  @shortylifts
