🔺THE VISIONARY 🔻
As we move toward the archetype of Visionary in our wheel of the year, here is a call to all Priestesses of yoga... We present to you an offering of immense heart dimensions. ❣
Our beloved co-founder @siannasherman has synthesized her life's work into the Rasa Yoga School @rasayogatribe - which is currently opening its temple doors to enrollment for a majestic online teacher training. This is the culmination of visionary impulse that invites you to create your own.
6 modules, each communing with a deity of mythic yoga. Sadhana throughout, for accountability to deep transformation. The curriculum is woven of Tantric yoga facets: asana, mantra, mudra, meditation, pranayama, philosophy, ritual and earth reverence. Every layer is rich in the transmission of masterful skill. Rasa means 'juice' - so this training dials into the essence of each soul's most vibrant gifts, each yogi's alchemical nourishment.
Sharing yoga is a great service that calls the whole Self to loving attention. If you feel stirred to further this journey, deepen your devotion and rise into full potential - sign up now. Enrollment is open until midnight TONIGHT, Pacific Standard Time. Say a radical YES to your heart's call to grow! Affirm your own teaching. ✨
I bow to the Soul of all. I bow to my Self. I don’t know who I am, so I bow to you, Shiva, my own true Self. I bow to my teachers who loved me with Love. Who took care of me when I couldn’t take care of myself. I owe everything to them. How can I repay them? They have everything in the world. Only my love is mine to give, but in giving I find that it is their love flowing through me back to the world…I have nothing. I have everything. I want nothing. Only let it flow to you, my love… sing!
Sangha hangha... What more can you ask for.
Thank you for your lovely company today! 🙏

☆ PILGRIMAGE ☆
《《 PRAYERS OF THE HEART 》》
Offered to Ma Ganga at one of the most sacred pilgrimage spots in creation, Brahma Kund at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar. It is here that a drop of amrita fell to Earth from the churning of the cosmic ocean. Kumbh Mela takes place here every 4 years. Our pilgrimage group was able to participate in Ganga Aarti on a truly transcendental Sunday evening. Afterwards, we sat on the steps and had katha about how rare the Earth is even in its density as it is an auspicious planet to launch to the fullness of spiritual remembering because of the relatively short life span and great potential for suffering to spark the real inquiries of material life. We spoke of the Vamana avatar of Lord Hari, and how as He stepped across creation, His toe pierced a whole through the Causal Ocean and allowed the Ganga to enter the Earth from the Spiritual world after being slowed by Shivas dreadlocks. In the post aarti glow on the steps of Brahma Kund, we talked about this time we are living in now of planetary ascension as the rarest launching point of all willing souls, to return to the fullness of Self-revelation and to the Beloved, while in the body. Give thanks and praises.

Questioner: The word "Truth" is used a lot in spiritual circles, but what is this "Truth" that we are seeking?
Agnisattva: You know what it is you are looking for, for in reality you are not looking for it at all for it is right here already, looking out of your very eyes, hearing with your very ears, flowing as your very breath. It is only the psychological mind, which is a mere product of conditioning, that has turned this into an external object to be searched for.
…RUS \ ENG…
Only when the mind is free from designations can one desire the association of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The mind must have some occupation. If a person is to be free of material things, his mind cannot be vacant; there must be subject matters for thinking, feeling and willing. Unless one's mind is filled with thoughts of Krishna, feelings for Krishna and a desire to serve Krishna, the mind will be filled with material activities. Those who have given up all material activities and have ceased thinking of them should always retain the ambition to think of Krishna. Without Krishna, one cannot live, just as a person cannot live without some enjoyment for his mind.
[CC Madhya-Lila 13.138 Purport]
There are times when we may find ourselves struggling or even fighting with our thoughts and emotions. We may feel that something must be done in a certain way or not at all, or there may be some other situation that feels absolutely black and white. But life is not this way--it's the way we are looking at our experiences that is causing the turmoil within us. When we become aware that the struggle we are having is with ourselves, we can turn our attention to the source in order to solve the problem, but we must be being willing to look where we need to and feel emotions that may make us uncomfortable at first. Then we can choose to really open ourselves to understanding all the options we can imagine. We are likely to discover that we are resisting something based on a limited understanding, and we must then open ourselves to willingness.
When we are willing to look at all the possibilities, we also become willing to accept that there is room for more than we can imagine. We can release ourselves from the grip we had on our emotions and stop limiting ourselves. We may have been unwilling to experience feeling loss, confusion, fear, or even joy for some reason or another, but when we realize that our understanding was limited we allow space for the universe to move in our lives.
Opening ourselves to willingness may feel like we are surrendering or abandoning all that we believed. But at the same time it is an act of power and courage because it is a conscious choice we make about how to apply our personal will. Being willing is to be in a state of willing something into creation. It is at once allowing ourselves to be while also choosing to direct our energy in a focused way. It is being and doing from a place of openness, where we can work with the universe rather than resist it. When we make a step toward willingness, we open ourselves to truth, possibility, and the movement of the wise universe in and through our lives.
BHAGAVAD GITA, CHAPTER 16, VERSE 21:
त्रिविधं नरकस्येदं द्वारं नाशनमात्मन: |
काम: क्रोधस्तथा लोभस्तस्मादेतत्त्रयं त्यजेत् || 21||. ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
There are three gateways to hell of self-destruction for the soul. These are lust, anger and greed. Therefore one should abandon these three completely.
Ooo...vedaangaaa yaa nama:/
means he whose limbs are the Vedas.
chant 9,18 times.
Bhagwat gita -
Lord Krishna to Arjuna -
Chapter 2, Verse 58
One who is able to withdraw his senses from sense objects, as the tortoise draws his limbs within the shell, is to be understood as truly situated in knowledge.
Chapter 2, Verse 59
The embodied soul may be restricted from sense enjoyment, though the taste for sense objects remains. But, ceasing such engagements by experiencing a higher taste, he is fixed in consciousness.
Chapter 2, Verse 60
The senses are so strong and impetuous, O Arjuna, that they forcibly carry away the mind even of a man of discrimination who is endeavoring to control them.
Chapter 2, Verse 61
One who restrains his senses and fixes his consciousness upon Me is known as a man of steady intelligence.
Chapter 2, Verse 62
While contemplating the objects of the senses, a person develops attachment for them, and from such attachment lust develops, and from lust anger arises.
Chapter 2, Verse 63
From anger, delusion arises, and from delusion bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, intelligence is lost, and when intelligence is lost, one falls down again into the material pool.
