New watch from @the365movement brings Scripture to the front every hour!
Today it’s one of God’s coolest MATH equations in James 5:16
Confession + Prayer = Healing!
I actually dig this watch in a lot of ways. Great idea, great execution, great design, great functionality, great feel, great look. It’s pretty much GREAT all around.
I’m all about getting Scripture into your heart, and this is another awesome way to do that. Hit up @the365movement and take advantage of another way to get Scripture deep into your soul!
For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. (Ezek. 36:24–27)
It was surely this passage that Jesus had in mind, showing regeneration to be an Old Testament truth (cf. Deut. 30:6; Jer. 31:31–34; Ezek. 11:18–20) with which Nicodemus would have been acquainted. Against this Old Testament backdrop, Christ’s point was unmistakable: Without the spiritual washing of the soul, a cleansing accomplished only by the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5) through the Word of God (Eph. 5:26), no one can enter God’s kingdom.
Key to wisdom!
Pay attention, don't let this out of your sight - keep it in your heart.
Proverbs 4:20-21 NIV
'My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words.
Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart.' #trashyourbible#lessonsfromthebible#keytowisdom
Are you wondering how to get through the day ahead? Does the way seem too rough and the burden too heavy? 'Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee.'
You don't have to do this day alone friend, lean on the One who is both able and willing to help you. Lay your burden down and drink from the river of grace. Let the love of Christ fill your heart and sing praises to Him, even in the hard places, ESPECIALLY in the hard places..... 'for the joy of the LORD is your strength.' 'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.'
Ps 55:22, Neh 8:10, Is 41:10 .

The things we can do as the year ends:
Thank God for what you have. Recharge spiritually. Rest in the presence of God through worship and prayer. Revive your passion for serving God in the church. Receive fresh direction from God for the future. Believe that God will guide you always.
“The Lord spoke 💬 to me with a strong hand and instructed 📖 me that I should not follow 👣 the way of these people 🌍: Do not call a conspiracy everything that people call a conspiracy; do not fear what they fear 😱, and do not be afraid...
Instead, make the Lord of Heaven’s Armies✨ holy in your life. He is the one you should revere ✝️. He is the one you should fear 🙏🏻...”
Faith, When stretched it doesn't break. When pressed, it doesn't fail. When expressed, it doesn't explode. When distressed it doesn't panic.
Returning back to Genesis!! This book reminds me deeply of God's amazing works. Especially this scripture, where he created the Heavens and the Earth. It's a nice reminder that if God can create the universe, then there really is not anything He can't do!!! .
Revelation 2:7 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one that is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
This Sunday was special: "This is the Lord's doing and it is wonderful in our eyes". I learnt this: "I'm just a donkey"
We have a morning discipleship class eveyday at my home. And all the disciples shared from the epistle of James on Sunday. I am blessed to see the Lord teach through them. I was amazed at the work of the Lord. I am so thankful that the Lord chose me to serve him and use me. "We are all his workmanship". #disciples#bible#biblestudy#calvarychapelindia#james#thankful#jesus#bibleverse#church#discipleship
When trouble comes between you and your neighbor what do you do?? Do you hold your peace or fight back? Do you keep your words to yourself or do you defend yourself? The understanding man holds peace. It is much harder to keep quiet and not react in a negative way than to allow your emotions run free. Sometimes you even end up apologizing for something that you didn't even do in order to keep peace. That is tough to do. But it is necessary. Yes, you may have "lost" the battle, but it is better to lose a battle than to lose your love for your brother and sister in Christ. Instead of talking back or arguing, treat them with love and compassion. Do not let your emotions take a hold of you. Your emotions will destroy your relationships with the body of Christ. Instead, look onto God's word for guidance when these tough situations arise!
Further Study v22: And he that shall swear by heaven,.... As the Jews were wont to do in common, but did not look upon such an oath as obligatory on them; See notes on Matthew 5:34, though such an one
sweareth by the throne of God; for heaven is God's throne, where he sits, and, in an eminent manner, displays the glory of his majesty:
and by him that sitteth thereon, by God himself. Thus swearing by anything that has any relation to God, is implicitly swearing by him; and therefore ought to be considered as binding, as if he was expressed in it; since an appeal cannot be made to things inanimate, nor indeed to any creature, but to God, the searcher of hearts.
In Summary: By heaven, the great temple of God, hallowed by the presence of God enthroned there. The sum of the whole is: Every oath is by God; hence make no distinctions between oaths; ‘swear not at all’ (Matt. 5:34). These verses really refer, not only to swearing, but to truthfulness, in word and act; they forbid those false distinctions used to palliate the crime of lying. #godsword#kingjamesversion#God#socialmedia#instagram#christian#jesus#christ#bible#bibleverse#verseoftheday#biblestudy
