“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:... Ye are... buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
And you, being dead in your sins...hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross...” (Colossians 2:6-14) #sharegoodness

SUMMARY AND LIFE APPLICATION:
MATTHEW 22:1-14: VERSE BY VERSE STUDY "The parable of the wedding feast"
PART 14: v14: For many are called, but few are chosen
Many are called by the preaching of the Gospel into the outward communion of the Church of Christ; but few, comparatively, are chosen to dwell with God in glory, because they do not come to the master of the feast for a marriage garment - for that holiness without which none can see the Lord. “Many are called, but few are chosen”: The call spoken of here is sometimes referred to as the “general call” (or the “external” call) – a summons to repentance and faith that is inherent in the gospel message. This call extends to all who hear the gospel. “Many” hear it; “few” respond (see the many-few comparison in 7:13-14). Here a general call is in view, and this call extends to all who hear the gospel – this call is the great “whosoever will” of the gospel (Rev. 22:17). Here, then, is the proper balance between human responsibility and divine sovereignty: the “called” who reject the invitation do so willingly, and therefore their exclusion from the kingdom is perfectly just. The “chosen” enter the kingdom only because of the grace of God in choosing and drawing them. The Bible is pretty explicit about Jesus being the way to heaven. Anyone who comes any other way is a robber and a thief. There is only one garment that is acceptable, and that is our white robe that has been washed in the blood of the Lamb. A person can sit on a church pew, and even be baptized, and not be cleansed from all unrighteousness; washed in the blood of the Lamb. Christianity, that is acceptable to God, is a love affair with the Lord Jesus Christ. Pretenders will not be acceptable to God. He will say to them, get away from me, I never knew you. They like professing atheists will be banished to eternal hell.
"You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, YOU ARE CONDEMNING YOURSELF, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment?" Romans 2:1-3
So don't judge me for being selfish and focusing on myself right now cause I'm not judging you. This has become my favorite verse. I'm a big stickler for not judging others. You can sit there and not agree with others decisions but respect them and not judge because one day you might find yourself in their position as well 😘#bibleverse#dontjudgeabookbyitscover#godslove
@jesus_can_save_u_today: The holiness of God has not changed. He is still holy. He does not delight in sin and His judgment remains the same. His grace does not mean that you should live freely in sin. Romans 12:2 says, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Galatians 15:33: Do not be deceived: "Bad company corrupts good morals..." Brothers & Sisters, ask yourselves "Am I causing someone in my life to sin?" . I know this a heavy question but often I find myself not being a "good Christian" and being the reason someone sins. It's an awful feeling (thank God for his love and mercy). I encourage you to ask God to reveal this to you. We are children of God,yes. But we STILL sin. Don't let your flesh and earthly desires allow you to cause someone (whom may not know the Lord) to sin! We must bring people TOWARDS salvation not away from it. We must be good examples and Christ-like examples. We must show those in our lives the love and kindness of Jesus. Do not be the reason someone drinks too much at that party or has lustful thoughts over you . Practice loving that person and loving yourself through Jesus ✝️❤️
COMMENT AMEN! God deserves a good chunk of time. If you're only giving him time that you have left before you gotta do something, well that won't work. MAKE time for Him. He deserves it and wants to spend time with you. He's your heavenly Father so pls give God more time❤️
SEPTEMBER TWENTIETH. .
Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust. Ps. 40 : 4. .
OUR gracious Lord, we beseech Thee to so guide and bless us this day, that we may become more like Thy Blessed Son, in all the gracious and wonderful perfections of His being. We earnestly pray that we may possess the mind of Christ — the mind of perfect humility; that His cross of self-denial and sacrifice may be willingly assumed and carried as one of the coveted privileges of the Christian life; that we may enjoy the Spirit of Christ, for we have learned that human wisdom is not sufficient to equip us to meet the demands of life and service; that we may possess the purity of Christ, in Whom there was found no fault; that the confidence of Christ may be ours, the confidence which perfect faith ensures; that the joy of Christ may fill our souls, the joy of perfect peace — peace enjoyed because there exists between Thy heart and ours nothing to create division or friction. Grant, we beseech Thee, Lord, that we may so live as to be fit to represent Thy dear Son as ambassadors; that we may be epistles known and read of all men, as telling the story of a wonderful redemption ; that the influence of our lives may be such that men may constantly take knowledge of us that we have been with Christ Jesus and have learned of Him. Amen.
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
-1 Timothy 3:16
Praying for your future spouse is the best thing you can do in your season of singleness. Going through this book I have learned that God has placed in me the desire to marry however, I have struggled with putting my trust in him. In his timing.Everyday I pray for my future spouse for him to become the man God has called him to be. Praying for him teaches me to place others before myself and become the woman God has called me to be. This book has served as inspiration and hope. I feel that my future husband deserves a woman who will support him, stand by him, and encourage him to the best person he can be. So grateful to find this book #christian#christianity#god#godisgood#bible#biblejournaling#bibleverse#jesus#single#singlelife#mom#momlife#women#31days#books#bookstagram#kindle

Have you ever given your child a gift, only to have them question your motives? Appear hesitant to take it? Or simply say to you: "Ohhh, I don't deserve that." Probably not. Chances are, you're met with a beaming smile, arms wide open, an excitement to accept the kind gesture--even if it's a cardboard box. No wonder Jesus refers to children, and those with child-like hearts, as bearers of His Kingdom. •
He came to g i v e us life--eternal life with Him! Sure, we don't deserve it, which is what makes it that much more amazing. But it's only until we accept His gift to us like a child: arms wide open, without hesitation or questioning our worthiness, will we be able to tap into the unrelenting l o v e He has for us. I guess that's where the famous phrase comes from: amazing grace 🌿 | Photo + Lettering @elislittlelight
