Qotd: What is your current read and how much do you rate it so far?
3. bölüm 70’li yıllarda Nişantaşı’ndaki konakların yerini apartmanların aldığı dönemde Refik’in oğlu solcu ressam Ahmet’in sanatçı gözüyle hayatı sorgulamasına tanık oluyoruz. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
✨ "Words, I think, are such unpredictable creatures. No gun, no sword, no army or king will ever be more powerful than a sentence. Swords may cut and kill, but words will stab and stay, burying themselves in our bones to become corpses we carry into the future, all the time digging and failing to rip their skeletons from our flesh." -Adam, Ignite Me, Tahereh Mafi// ✨ I just finished season five of New Girl and now I don't know what to do with myself because there's no more on Netflix and I thought there was at least one more season, BUT THERE ISNT. I've kinda been in the comedy mood, but I'm also very picky with my comedy... // ✨ Random Book Recommendation of the Day :: The Shatter Me trilogy by Tahereh Mafi, which is getting THREE MORE BOOKS. I'm seriously so beyond excited. And yes, it is mainly because I need way more Kenji Kishimoto in my life // ✨ Random Question of the Right Now :: Do you usually fall in love with main characters or side characters? What are some books you've read that have actually lived up to their hype? •
One huge reason I am challenging myself to read more classics is for books like this: The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins. It was written in 1876 and is attributed with being the first mystery in (what I'm assuming 'the interweb' was refering to) the English literature. But it isn't because of this street dred that I own this book. I only found out about it last week and only because of the mini book club I'm in. We were discussing which book to read next month, and @barnesandnoble happened to be having a sale on theses editions, so as we chatted, I was scrolling through the website. The cover is really what grabbed me. I hadn't heard the title before, and even though we didn't pick it for September, I bought it anyways (I mean, come on. $5 classics is a steal.) Lo and behold this book sounds like the coolest thing ever and I can't wait until October when we do actually read this. •
[#auginbooks17 ] hyped book you haven't read - in the classic readers community, this book is popular. •
[#justmybookbloggerlifeaug ] unique names - how many people do YOU know named 'Wilkie"? Yeah, me neither. •

“Face them all like a warrior, whether you are one or not.” 🔥❄🔥❄ Holy moly, this book was so good!! I really need Fireblood in my life right now!
Frostblood by @elly_blake was such a good read! I enjoyed the world she created and the characters. Another fast paced, fantasy YA read that is very enjoyable and that takes you to a new world. I highly recommend this book! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Synopsis:
The frost king will burn.
Seventeen-year-old Ruby is a Fireblood who has concealed her powers of heat and flame from the cruel Frostblood ruling class her entire life. But when her mother is killed trying to protect her, and rebel Frostbloods demand her help to overthrow their bloodthirsty king, she agrees to come out of hiding, desperate to have her revenge.
Despite her unpredictable abilities, Ruby trains with the rebels and the infuriating—yet irresistible—Arcus, who seems to think of her as nothing more than a weapon. But before they can take action, Ruby is captured and forced to compete in the king’s tournaments that pit Fireblood prisoners against Frostblood champions. Now she has only one chance to destroy the maniacal ruler who has taken everything from her—and from the icy young man she has come to love.
The lovely @the.bookinist tagged me to post a photo for #happyshelfiesunday . It's already Monday here, but since it's my free day, I feel like it's Sunday! Look for Sawyer! He graciously agreed to post instead of me because I'm not really into selfies! 😻😜
If you want to do this, please consider yourself tagged. 😊
⚛ CHRONIQUE ⚛
(Moi perso Daniel) ⚛⚛

Where I live is pretty much in the path of totality, so I'm looking forward to seeing it, through the glasses of course!
#justbooksaugust day 21: books related to education
These books are related to my master's thesis which I should start to think about again. Right now I feel like I'm never going to graduate but let's hope it will happen in two years (one year, please, my head, keep yourself together). Those little sticker bookmarks cheer me up when I study. My friend brought them for me from Japan 💕
Good morning dragon riders 😏
I find there absolutely could be more beautiful dragon emojis, what do you think? 🐉🐲👀😒 But in return this bookmark from @mybookmark is even more beautiful. 😍 At the moment there is even a 20% sale on going. 👀🙈 I'm already in temptation but I'm really trying to control my purse strings. 😂 Though I really want to have the Alice one and the mermaid, and the fox and did you see the white dragon? 😱 Oh heaven... I always want too much things. 😩 Why I do have such an addiction for so mich things though? Fellow sufferers among you? 💗😂 Get well through this Monday 🙆🏻

“You got up, and you did something. And if trying to find a way when you don't even know you can get there isn't a small miracle; then I don't know what is.” ― Rachel Joyce, The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry
Last night I FINALLY finished The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. It took me weeks to finish it even though it wasn't even that long. But I did enjoy it. There were times when I grew a bit bored reading it, but this book is thought-provoking. It's the kind of book that will make you reflect on the chances you've taken and the ones you didn't. I gave it 3.5 🌟 out of 5.
What was the last book you've read? 👇
Good morning on another of these wonderful days called Monday. 😏😂 Sooo the last two days it was fall-like already 🍁 and I'm kind of okay with that. But it's always so quick. Friday was so freakin hot 🌞 and the weekend was much much cooler. I'm curious which weather will surprise us this week. 😅 I hope for some sunshine cause tomorrow it's my sisters birthday and on Wednesday is mine, so it would be great, if we could sit in the garden to celebrate. 🎉 How's the weather at your location?
Ahhh I totally forgot to mention it yesterday: So @kath_reads and @tijneyewear were hosting a giveaway and I WON! 😱🎉🎉🎉🍀 I still can't believe that I was allowed to choose whatever product I liked from the website of tinjeyewear ❤ and I can't wait to show you my new sunglasses soon. 🙌 I'm so so happy cause I usually don't win anything. 🙈 Thanks again to both hosting accounts for this awesome opportunity. 😍
Aaaand I found some new bookshelves for my little library! 🙌 So Saturday really was a good day! If you are interested, they should still be visible in my story. ☺
Day 21 of #hibookistvshowaugust17 ⏩ The Originals - Old Books 🐝
To be honest, I don't have a single book in my collection that would fit in this category and the one on this pic is a dummy. 🙈 I got it from my sister once but I never got around to hide something inside... it's empty ever since. 😂 And have I already said that I love my Captain Jack Sparrow Funko? 😍 I mean... just look at him. He's so detailed and beautiful and I'm so glad that I have added him to my collection. ❤
Rock your days my loves 😘
I cannot wait to chat more in depth with everyone on September 1st, but until then here's my #bookreview of FIERCE KINGDOM... I absolutely loved the concept of it having a 3 hour timeframe and I think that's originally what excited me about this story. Once I got into it though there was so much more! It's a reminder to not take things for granted, to live in the moment, a tale of survival and of a mothers love, and to top it all off it plays with the reality of the scary world we live in. It hit so close to home! It's suspenseful, heart stoping, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's also a quick read. My only issue with this was that I felt at times the momentum killed the suspense and I wanted it to be a fast pace throughout however, the writing (and the in between chapters) were great. I look forward to more thrilling reads from @ginphillips! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Agree? Disagree?? See you all on @hollyslittlebookreviews page for the final discussion September 1st 👏🏻

On a cold blustery day, I'm snuggled inside reading the inaugural Ottiya magazine.
A magazine by and for those who have a passion for creative education including students, teachers, architects, and designers. The theme of the first issue is 'community' and features content from Canada, Japan, Denmark, and Singapore among other countries and highlights work from IDEO, Linda Liukas, Sesame Workshop, and leading US charter schools.
"There's a lot of ugly things in this world, son. I wish I could keep 'em all away from you. That's never possible." - Harper Lee 📖
Yesterday I went out with two of my friends (whom I haven't seen for 5mos!). We had some coffee while catching up then pizza afterwards. It was such a relaxing weekend all in all and I hope my Sundays were always like that. When you're a nurse, your dayoffs change like, every week. 🍕💪
This photo was taken at the coffee shop where we dined in last night. You know this bookworm always brings a book with her wherever she goes. Also let's admit, it's sometimes for bookstagram purposes. Lucky my friends are very supportive. 😂🙈 Hope you lovelies are having a great day! P.S. This photo actually differs (a lot) from my other posts, but I love how it looks in the feed atm. 😘
QOTD: Where do you usually hang-out with friends? 💕
