Week 1 of my dumbbell 5x5 workout in the books. 
Today started off with a killer 25lb dumbbell ab workout, every exercise holding the dumbbell. 
Getup situps.
Russian twists.
90/90 crunch with the DB on my legs.
Flutter kicks with a sit-up holding the DB up. 
Elbow to knees in a V incline. 
The main 5x5 workout today consisted of:

1. DB front squats - 27.5lbs each arm. 
2. Floor DB bench press - 45lbs each arm. 
3. Bent over rows - 25lbs each arm. 
Bonus 5x5 exercises:

4. Bicep curls - 25lbs each arm.

5. Floor chest flys - 15lbs each arm. 
6. Hammer curls - 25lbs each arm. 
7. Skull crushers - 15lbs each arm. 
Slowly increasing the weight each workout but doing each exercise very slow and controlled and really contracting the muscle.  So far feeling GREAT!

Here are some bis, tris, and shoulders. Cardio absolutely killed me tonight, it just keeps on getting harder for me. I was on the verge of dying but we still pushed through. 
This morning was check ins with my coach and we hit a new low weigh in at 115lbs!! We were super excited about that & considering the week I just had it was unexpected. This progress is keeping me hungry for more 💪🏼 @a_squad_coach •

I was having some [ major ] knee pain this week so switched up my normal crossfit for some traditional lifting at the gym. I focused Wednesday of biceps & triceps and tonight on chest & back. It was a very •humbling• challenge to do a workout full of dumbbell curls, butterflies, skull crushes, and push-ups. I loved how different and hard it was from me 💪🏽🔥It was a nice reminder that switching up my routine from time to time ⏰ is awesome not only for my muscles, but also my mind 🙇🏻‍♀️ • Happy FriYAY #fitfam
