I have reached the Lincoln Memorial! 374.1 miles done — And before my deadline. It was a fun experience. During this adventure I was able to look up small towns along the way. Travel isn’t always about grand destinations, it’s about exploring, experiencing and learning.
Thanks for following along on my trek to the Lincoln Memorial. I will be starting a new journey after my epic two week vacation and agent training. Everyone is welcome to join me on the next trek. Get your walking shoes ready!
Want to visit Washington D.C. and the surrounding area? I can get you there! I won’t make you walk or ride a bike either, I promise!
Repost from @therunningwife 20 miles DONE! Guys this one was HARD!! 😨😨 The first 8 went fine. The first 5 mile tempo went well but after I slowed down for the recovery my legs just didn’t want to go fast again. I contemplated quitting during the second 5 mile interval (several times) but I kept talking myself into one more mile until I finally hit that final mile. My legs ached, my body wanted to quit, but I kept pushing! 🏃🏼♀️
Couldn’t let the day pass without sneaking in a ride. I didn’t actually get a picture tonight but I found this one in my camera roll from the other day. Met my goal of at least 15 miles tonight. 🚴🏾♂️🚴🏾♂️🚴🏾♂️
Sólstafir, another great band from Iceland! 🤘I'm surprised by how much good music this tiny country produces!! I would have missed half of Sólstafir's show if I took the train tonight. That's why I decided to bike back and forth to Leeuwarden. 54 km in total, but no regrets at all. Just love the freedom you have with a bike. 😁🚴♂️ @solstafir_official #solstafir#metal#neushoorn#leeuwarden#netherlands
