Activating your parasympathetic nervous system is absolutely key if you want to learn to adapt to training, diet etc.
If we don’t actively encourage this then we will struggle to adapt as our body sits in a chronic state of sympathetic (fight or flight) activation.
Things you can do:
Deep belly breathing
Light aerobic work
Walking in the outdoors
Build routines into your life (waking/bedtime)
Lots of little efforts to do this stuff week in week out WILL change your life and help you reach your goals in/out of the gym. Just don’t expect quick results 😉
