People will never stop reminding you what they perceive is different about you; What they don’t approve of, what they are scared of. They say beauty is universal in its view instead of taught and that intelligence is racially ingrained in the shape of ones skull. The idea that there are “normal” people and all the “others”. The others are not to be trusted mind you, the others are more animal than man. The fact is black people have been taught to police ourselves by color and. to judge ourselves harshly and that is heartbreaking. Not because it’s accurate and hurts my feelings, not because it bruises my ego that people don’t find me attractive... but because it is just objectively fucked nonsensical logic to think your value lies in the color of your skin. Melanin is not an inhibitor of beauty or intelligence and it doesn’t make a person less worthy of an education or being given justice in a court of law. This shit is so basic why am I even wasting my energy trying to explain that being black doesn’t make a person subhuman?😔#melanin#wcw#wce#lhhh#oitnb#orangeisthenewblack#intersectionalfeminism#racism#prejudice#blacklivesmatter
Fuuuuuuuck I felt like Neo entering the machine city to face the architect of all evil this morning 👿🖕🏾👮🏼
Tomorrow (Thursday) is the final meeting to get the many discrepancies resolved with the new Austin Police Union Contract. Among other problems with their proposed protections and rewards, when an officer receives a complaint, they are not required to come down and give account. They are given TWO DAYS to get their story together before speaking to Internal Affairs/Superiors. Next, officers files of misconduct are sealed after three years, allowing them to receive promotions without consideration of complaints, abuses, grievances.
And the list goes on, and on, and on.
RESIST! By Keith Haring. 1988.
Mr Haring designed this logo for advocacy group “Refuse & Resist”. The group helped fight against then president Ronald Reagan’s right wing values that were being directed towards the political rights of the American people. The group since ‘06 has dissolved. But let’s not forget those that fought back then & those that literally died in the 80s because Reagan & his right wing friends decided to to spit in the faces of women, incarcerate innocent black people, kill gay/bi men by not providing any funding or paying attention to the AIDS epidemic which killed thousands of brave gay/bi men and many others that were hurt by Reagan’s conservative regime. All this is happening again only now on a larger scale it’s not just minorities in the US but worldwide that is affected by Trumps right wing reign. Remember what “Refuse & Resist” stood for; What Keith Haring said in his art. #RESIST#TransIsBeautiful#DefendDACA#LoveIsLove#ScienceIsReal#GayIsGood#BlackLivesMatter#ProtectTransWOC#WOCAreTheFuture#DumpTrump#NotMyPresident#NoBanNoWall#NoBanNoWallNoRaids
Eniola Aluko (born 21 February 1987) is a Nigerian-born English footballer who plays for Chelsea Ladies & England. Former England manager Mark Sampson did make racist comments to Eni Aluko, independent investigation finds. Martin Glenn FA chief executive said if I wrote a statement saying the FA were not institutionally racist he would release the second tranche of the money. I felt that was bordering on blackmail," she said. Glenn denies asking her to do this. In a written submission to the inquiry, Aluko said she understood a black actress was hired to role-play "bad behaviour and a selfish attitude" with players - which she believed was meant to represent her. Mark Sampson: FA sorry over race remarks to Eniola Aluko & Drew Spence
8 hours ago From the sectionWomen's Football
An independent barrister ruled Sampson made unacceptable "ill-judged attempts at humour" on two occasions, to Eniola Aluko and Drew Spence.
As the report of Katharine Newton's reopened investigation was published, FA bosses faced uncomfortable questions over four hours at a parliamentary inquiry, with one MP labelling the organisation (FA) as shambolic . Quote: Racism is not a black problem ! Know your rights. Well done Eniola 👊🏾 #Eniola#football#racism#blacklivesmatter#institutionalisedracism#fight#knowyourworth#blackisbeautiful#blackisintelligence#love#whentheygolowwegohigh#blessed#racismo#nomore #####
Major left-wing foundations have given millions of dollars to a leading anti-Trump “resistance” group, a new report reveals.
The W.K. Kellogg Foundation, The Ford Foundation and the Open Society Foundation have channeled millions of dollars to the Center for Community Change, according to 2015 tax documents obtained by The Washington Free Beacon.
The documents provide a rare glimpse into the relationship between big progressive donors and the left-wing activists who have mobilized against President Trump and other Republican lawmakers. As a 501(c)3 organization, the center isn’t required to publicly disclose the source and nature of its donations.

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation gave $3 million to the Center for Community Change. The Ford Foundation gave another $2.3 million to the center, while the Open Society Foundation provided another $1,750,000 to the center, as revealed by the documents.
The Open Society Foundation is the personal project of left-wing mega donor George Soros, who has previously backed other anti-Trump “resistance” groups.
Left-wing activist group Indivisible, one of several groups launched as a direct response to Trump’s election, is a project of the Advocacy Fund, a progressive advocacy group that funded by Soros’ Open Society Policy Center, as The Daily Caller first reported.
Resistance group Refuse Fascism, which has consistently organized mass demonstrations in Berkeley and elsewhere that have turned into riots, is similarly backed by left-wing donor networks.
As TheDC’s Chuck Ross first reported, Refuse Fascism is backed by a progressive charity that is in turn funded by left-wing financier George Soros, a major labor union and several large companies.
