This week was a doozy for me. The lessons were out on display without any regard for my heart. But I was asking to see the truth, and that's exactly what came out. No matter the pain, the truth will always set us free. 🍃
* I did not kill this monarch, nor take the wings apart like this as my husband had thought. I would never ever do such a thing. Each wing was scattered on my front porch, and of course I had to scoop them up. I took this one photo right after I found them, and then the wind blew and one of the wings disappeared. Now I have three as they sit with some crystals and found pinecones and feathers having a party in my kitchen. I'm very blessed no matter the pain, no matter the loss or fear. There is always something to be thankful for 🙏
Got inspired by #ashtangayogabeyond so decided to jump in with a #1minuteheadstand No banana back, but banana (in) belly. That’s about the size of the baby now. 👶🏼First video cut off my head, second my feet. Hard to be behind and in front of the camera. 😜Sped up x4.
Fall is spectacular. Winter is a different story for me here in Wisconsin. It's 27° this morning. I've been sick and my body is rejecting these freezing temps. Which means going outside is not really an option right now. Therefore I start feeling down because being outside is one of my true joys. This is when the lessons start. Being still, quiet, reaching within to find joy without external help. I always make plans, but today it's one moment at a time. And in this moment, I will focus on healing love within my heart spreading throughout my aching body. If there's a will, there's a way. I'm tired of this ache and I'm ready to feel like myself again. I will the natural state of my body to return and let go of the fears that are hiding in the shadows. I am ready to heal. May we all love ourselves and feel whole in our mind, body and spirit. 🙏
Day 10 of #fallforashtanga is #yogischoice “Let me help you with that #pinchamayurasana mom!” 🤣I love inversions, but usually work more on my handstands and headstands. Today I really tried to push hard with my forearms to lift my shoulders as much as possible. #babybump Thank you so much to all the awesome hosts and sponsors. I had a great time!
