GOOEY CACAO BALL RECIPE (13-15 balls)⠀
1 cup pitted dates⠀
1/3 cup pepita seeds⠀
1/3 cup almond meal⠀
1/4 cup sunflower seeds⠀
1tbs chia seeds⠀
1. Place the dates into a bowl and cover with warm water to rehydrate for 30mins⠀
2. Drain water and place dates into food processor. Blitz for 30 seconds⠀
3. Add remaining ingredients and blitz until mixture starts to get sticky and group together⠀
4. Roll into small balls and store in the fridge.⠀
Keeping with this weeks cacao theme, I thought you would all enjoy this recipe. It is super simple to make, and more importantly, tastes amazing! 😋
Got yourself some Matcha powder and need a yummy recipe to spice up the flavour?? These superfood powders don't have the best flavour, but we have them in diet because they have so much to offer! Matcha also known as the Japanese green tea is high in antioxidants, boosts metabolism, aids detoxification, is rich in fibre and chlorophyll, boosts mood and concentration, lowers cholesterol and blood sugar, and provides many essential nutrients!
So what are you waiting for?! Whip up some chocolate, coconut and match bliss balls to get you through the week 🙌🏻 Ingredients:
1 cup oats, ground down into flour
1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp unsweetened desicated coconut
1/2 cup almond meal
1 cup medjool dates, pitted
1 Tbsp matcha powder or 2 Tbsp vanilla matcha protein powder @nuzest
2 Tbsp cacao nibs or 85% dark chocolate chopped up
Optional: sprinkle with cacao and matcha powder
Pit your dates and place then in a bowl, and cover them with boiling water for 10 minutes. Meanwhile blend oats in food processor until they forms fine powder. Add in coconut, almond meal, matcha powder, and pulse until combined. Drain dates and put hen in the food processor l, and blend until they form a sticky paste. Pulse in the cacao nibs or chocolate, until mixed through. Using a Tbsp measure scoop out the mixture and form into balls. Place in the fridge to harden, and then sprinkle with cacao and matcha powder.

Also added a few dōTERRA essential oils (1 drop cinnamon to the protein ones, 5 drops peppermint to choc mint and 7 drops lemon to lemon (didn’t have lemon for the juice). ✔Para endulzar :2 Cdas. Dulce de leche sin azúcar, pueden usar @donavickygourmet
✔2 cdas. Chips de chocolate. Usamos los de 56% cacao de @choconochile
✔1 cda. Chía @sowbio
✔Coco Rallado @gourmetchile .
Sólo deben juntar todos los ingredientes, menos el coco. Formar una masita que permita hacer bolitas y finalmente pasarlas por coco rallado, si no les gusta el coco puede ser cacao amargo, o simplemente dejarlas al descubierto! 🙈
Pueden conservarlas en un frasquito de vidrio con tapa o un recipiente hermético! 💥

Just keep on rolling with those delicious hemp balls! They are made with dates, hazelnuts, cashew kernels, peanut butter, coconut palm syrup and coconut oil! Perfect to go or as a nice treat in between. You can find the recipe below!

Hemp and Cocoa Balls
Time: 20 minutes
Cooling Time: 20 minutes
Makes about 24 balls
200 g Rapunzel dates without pit deglet nour, fairtrade
120 g Rapunzel hazelnuts, demeter
120 g Rapunzel cashew kernels, fairtrade
¼ tsp Rapunzel sea salt, atlantic
40 g Rapunzel hemp seeds peeled, from Austria
40 g Rapunzel cocoa powder, fairtrade
3 tbs Rapunzel coconut palm syrup
2 tbs Rapunzel coconut oil, fairtrade
1 tbs Rapunzel peanut butter fine salted
Rapunzel hemp seeds peeled, from Austria
Rapunzel cocoa powder, fairtrade
Give dates into a food processor or mixer and blend till the dates turn into small pieces and stick together. Add hazelnuts, cashew kernels, salt and hemp seeds and mix. Finally mix in cocoa powder, coconut palm syrup, coconut oil and peanut butter till the mixture becomes like a cookie dough. Add some coconut oil if it feels to dry.
Cool everything in fridge for 20 minutes. After cooling form little balls with your hands.
Roll the balls into hemp seeds or cocoa powder if you wish.
