I would like to give personal thanks and a raucous shoutout to the wonderful owners/biscuit makers at @thebiscuitshed in #Brattleboro#VT : Nic, Lola, and I were pulling out of the @brattleborofarmersmarket driveway after our walk in the river when the superduperawesomesauce biscuit maker flagged down our car and offered us some biscuits for the road as he was closing up. I'm pretty sure this kind soul had no idea that I'm madly obsessed with his biscuit recipe and have waited in a line each week since the #farmersmarket opened this season to score one for me and one for my man. (I promptly ran home to @patchofskyfarm and made a #BLT with lettuce from @tapalou guilds, a tomato from @walkerfarmvt, and bacon from #northcountrycookhouse .)
I plan on repaying the kindness this weekend at the market--and if you're in back of me in line you might just reap the benefits!! ❤️

It's about feeding your body a full range of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, lean meats and balancing the foods you LOVE to give your body the diverse range of nutrients it requires 🙌🏼 Here is my version of a BTL that gives you all da flavor and goodness without the guilt! ▪️3 slices Applegate Farms Organic Turkey Bacon ▪️ 2 slices Fran's 7 Grain GF Bread ▪️2 TBS Athenos Three Pepper Hummus ▪️1 oz Avocado ▪️1 oz Red Onion ▪️2 oz Tomato ▪️1 oz Red Lead Lettuce ▪️3 oz Cucumber ▪️For this meal in particular macros are: 25g P - 54g C - 15g F 😉
Mumbox Monday!! Prep work:
cook bacon - I do it in the oven in a batch, saves time and takes no effort.
Roast kumara chips - sprinkle with oil, paprika and S & P, bake 200°c for 30-40 mins
Putting the box together in the mornings will take less than 5 mins thanks to your foward planning!
