It's #WonderWoman day! Which version did you end up grabbing? I went with the Target digibook, to match my other ones. I don't care for steelbooks and 4K was too expensive, but I'm happy with this release!! It'll look great on a shelf next to my Batman V. Superman Target Exclusive!
Just received this epic bluray package of Children of the Corn from the cult cinema connoisseurs at @arrowvideo It comes with a reversible poster, artwork, slipcover and a booklet in the first pressing. Get em while you can!
“I know this sounds crazy, but ever since yesterday on the road, I've been seeing this shape. Shaving cream, pillows... Dammit! I know this. I know what this is! This means something. This is important.” The second Steven Spielberg buy this week and one of my favorites. I truly love Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Spielberg has made tons of great films like the Indiana Jones trilogy, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s list, Saving Private Ryan, but Close Encounters will always be my favorite film of his. It’s an amazing piece of cinema and I’m always blown away when I re-watch it. Hate when people say the film is overrated. All the performances are great, but when I first saw the film I became overly excited when I saw François Truffaut. My friend asked me, “who is that?” I grabbed him and told him that he was one of the greatest directors who helped with the French New Wave. Can’t wait to re-watch it. It’s definitely a beautiful steelbook and glad it’s getting the 4K treatment.
