5yrs ago this time, I was 20 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby, and lil did I know it was going to be my first baby gal. Wasn't the best pregnancy nor labour but so well worth it! How much has changed since than. How different do I look now, older, more wrinkles and silvers but less fat and more fitter😉My body has been through a massive change. What an amazing thing the body is. The woman's body especially. With being able to grow another human being inside us, then go through labour (where you could swear you feel like you're going to rip in half) and than recovery....and for some become even fitter then prior to bubs. I had my first two boys in my early to mid 20's and bounced back in shape pretty much within 12 months. No problemo. However with baby boy #3 and being right at the end of my 20's (knocking on the 30's door) the body decided it wasn't going to budge unless I gave it a bit of a shove so to say. So I started watching what I eat and how much, started karate and lost what I needed to. Now this last bubs was at the age of 39 and boy was my bod feeling it this time, during and after inside and out. Again watched what I ate and started Zumba® and again within 12 months got back to slim me. Anywho, my point is that yes as you get older losing weight and getting fit or back in shape is definetly harder then in your 20's BUT it's still doable!!! It's no excuse for letting yourself go. I am fitter and stronger now than what I was 20 years ago. All you need is a little motivation and dedication. Mind over matter guys. If u REALLY want it, you CAN achieve it!👊💪

Finally back in the gym after being out sick. Squats felt so heavy but it felt so good to back under the bar. I'm focusing on building my strength over the next few months. Excited to see what I can accomplish out of a calorie deficit.
