Lets be successful this weekend together! Here are some tips for having a healthier weekend and staying on track with your goals!
1. Eat as many meals as you can at home.
You’ll eat healthier at home than you will when you’re out at a restaurant where there are temptations.
2. BUT, when you do go out, be smart when ordering.
Order baked or broiled items instead of fried or sautéed. Pair lean meats with veggies. Substitute side salads for fries. And ALWAYS ask for dressings and sauces on the side.
3. Drink LOTS of water.
Make sure to drink a full glass of room temp water before eating to fill your stomach. Alternative cold and hot water to speed up your metabolism. And keep drinking water throughout the day to avoid mindless snacking.
4. Get your workout done in the morning.
If you schedule your workout for the morning before your day gets going you’ll be more likely to do it and stick to your plan than if you push it off all day. Pick a workout & plan what time you’ll do it in the morning and stick to it just like you would a doctors appointment.
5. Make time for self care.
Make time for yourself during the day. Take 5 minutes in the morning to meditate. Stretch. Take an extra long hot shower. Get a pedicure. Take an hour out of your day to read a good book. When you fill your own cup, you can fill others. ❤️❤️❤️
