I have read this book very late. But finally i did. I liked it, i didn't loved it. It is a one time read and after that you won't feel like like reading it again, story was mediocre, but the plot twist was really awesome, somehow you expect that to happen but never seems very obvious. It is story about a world where there are two kinds of people silver with silver blood and they have special powers and reds with red blood and they have no power, silver rule the world and reds are almost slave to silvers but things change when a red girl revealed to have powers like silvers and this her story. I was not into the world that the author built, i was not able to attach myself to it. I liked how the magic works here, it has been done before, but still a great spin on it. Character were good, likeable and you connect to them.
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
Current read: Partials by Dan Wells
The back cover says- “When our ancestors were attacked at Pearl Harbor, they called it a day that would live in infamy. The day that the Partials attacked us with the RM virus will not live in anything, because there will be none of us left to remember it.” -President David R. Cregan, March 21, 2065, in a press conference at the White House. Three hours later he hanged himself. -
I must say, this is taking me longer to read than some books. It’s a sci-fi dystopian that has turned out super good, just a lot of it I have to process.
Anyone who has added this to their TBR shelf and keeps skimming by it to go on to the next thing, stop. Pick it up and read it. Worth it so far. Will update.

"Kell wore a very peculiar coat. It had neither one side, which would be conventional, nor two, which would be unexpected, but several, which was, of course, impossible."
-VE Schwab (A Darker Shade of Magic)
I love this U.K. Collector's Edition of 'A Darker Shade of Magic!" I tried getting the U.S. version, but I kept getting the damaged ones, boohoo! How's everyone's Black Friday going? Your bank accounts cursing you to the seven circles of hell yet? Are you the type to brave the crowd or are you like me, one who likes to leisurely buy stuff inside the comfort of their home? I'm allergic to crowds...I get irritated easily, so online buying is my friend! There's really no escaping today. I woke up to almost fifty emails of coupons and alerts, haha!
QOTD: Did you take advantage of today's sales? What's your fav purchase?
One of my most favourite things to do it explore bookshops and libraries. There are so many beautiful libraries around the world. It’s definitely giving me inspiration for my home library! #bookshelf#booksaremagic#booksarelife

KINGDOMS WILL RISE AND FALL FOR HER...
BUT NOT IF SHE CAN HELP IT
Catalia "Cat" Fisa lives disguised as a soothsayer in a traveling circus. She is perfectly content avoiding the danger and destiny the Gods-and her homicidal mother-have saddled her with. That is, until Griffin, an ambitious warlord from the magic-deprived south, fixes her with his steely gaze and upsets her illusion of safety forever.
Griffin knows Cat is the Kingmaker, the woman who divines the truth through lies. He wants her as a powerful weapon for his newly conquered realm-until he realizes he wants her for much more than her magic. Cat fights him at every turn, but Griffin's fairness, loyalty, and smoldering advances make him increasingly hard to resist and leave her wondering if life really does have to be short, and lived alone.
The Kingmaker Chronicles:
A Promise of Fire (Book 1)
Breath of Fire (Book 2)
Heart on Fire (Book 3)
Today’s post is for #NostalgicinNovember : a sentimental book 😌📖 This edition of Black Beauty is special for a few reasons! My dad gave it to me as part of a set when I was 11, with the other two books being The Secret Garden and A Little Princess. It’s also one of the first classics I remember reading, and it had a huge and lasting impact on the way I think about the treatment and protection of animals. It was Anna Sewell’s only book, but it’s popularity and influence meant that the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals eventually used it to improve the treatment of horses everywhere.
Eat, pray, love" by Elizabeth Gilbert.
Isn’t this bookshop beautiful! Thanks @vintagebooks and @dauntbooks for the invitation to bookstagram breakfast to celebrate publishing new Vintage Dickens editions #vintagedickens . #HowtoChangeaLife by @stacey.ballis is good enough I'm interested in reading more of this author's books. Before we go to deep in this together I feel it is fair to warn you that this book is not christian fiction. There were opportunities to create a better flowing story but what I read was still pretty good all on its own. #BookReview#Bookish#BooksAreLife
