Hello lovely people! And a Happy New Year! Just a tad late. I mean it’s already (almost) the 4th Jan. Goodness me! What have I been doing you ask? Our backyard got a bit of a “play” makeover for my lucky boys over Christmas so we’ve been spending lots of time together out there lately. In the sandpit, playing with water, playing with the mud kitchen (which still has no mud in it... oops! 😆). I’ve also been starting to declutter my house 😬 (see stories for the chaos where you can tell me I’m mad!). So for the next couple of weeks before I reopen, I’ll be hanging here. Having fun with my kids and not so much fun with my house. What have you been up to since Christmas? I’ve love to know!
Here’s one of my boys with one of his books and a cheeky look on his face. And bandaid stickyness all over his knee #winsomeyoulosesome#bandaidsmakeitbetter#evenbruises
I’m back on emails now so shot me one if you have any questions! 💌 Yasmin

A Turn for the Worse (Grant Wolves #1 ) By: Lori Drake
Available on Amazon!
She couldn’t save his life. Can she save his soul?
Werewolf by birth and dancer by choice, Joey is a force to be reckoned with on and off the dance floor. Relentless in the pursuit of perfection, she never does anything halfway. Fortunately, Chris—her partner and packmate—keeps her from taking herself too seriously. When he’s murdered, her carefully ordered life is thrown into chaos.
Grief-stricken and unable to turn to the police, Joey must rely on her own wits, fortitude, and connections to track down the killer before another wolf dies. But when she discovers Chris’s spirit is being held hostage by a ruthless fanatic, the whole situation goes from bad to worse.
Can she foil the killer’s nefarious scheme and set Chris free, or will he be trapped between this world and the next forever?
A Turn for the Worse introduces a new breed of werewolf in an edge-of-your-seat adventure chocked full of surprising twists, complex emotions, and a diverse cast of characters. If you like strong, independent women, nail-biting mysteries, a generous dose of the supernatural, and convention-defying tales, you’ll love this book!

The next book/books are Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, that is one (or two☺️) amazing american Classic! I can only recommend reading this story, it possesses the Peter Pan adventures, the American-Southern Charm and still manage to keep that rough edge, making it more realistic. The stories are entertaining, you can't help yourself not shake your head and laughing along with the little white lies, the pranks and the goofs. But in contrast of the fun, they also work with darker themes, taboos and rough path of growing up. This is definitely a book I would recommend reading I have read it now in different version, and the more original the book gets, the better. Enjoy! #booklist#readingchallenge#marktwain#tomsawyer#huckleberryfinn#books#booksforfun#readaloud#americanliterature#mississippi#mississippiriver#amazingbooks
“Did it every occur to you that if you weren't living in fear of other people's opinions of you, no one would have the power to take anything away?”
"I'd learned early on that people stay away if they think you're struggling. They don't want the stink to fall on them too.” ••
It was a quick read-- I started + finished it in one sitting! I find the story interesting, but not what you expected. I was waiting for something "big" to happen, and then.. It's over. I was so not ready for it to end. 😔
"You have to grow about eight hundred grapes to get just one bottle of wine. If that isn’t an argument to finish the bottle, I don’t know what is."
"Even if things didn’t always go the way they should, sometimes they went exactly where they needed to."
"Be careful what you give up."
I can't put it down and i really enjoyed it! •••
"It took a lot to have hope in this world where so little evidence of it existed. Maybe if nothing bad had ever happened, you didn’t even consider those clouds and storms ahead. But for the rest of us, even the brightest sunshine carried a chance of rain."
I was so happy to find this book. It was a quick and beautiful light read. 💕💕 •••
