“I’ll be there for you. Cassian said I had to.”
This one is a day late. Yesterday was a day! I saw Star Wars today and holey moley was it intense. I already want to watch it again. Not going to say much since I don’t want to give anything away.
Do you like the Star Wars series? Which movie is your favorite? Do you like some of their spin off things more?

Blast from the past with my merch here. This Darth Vader one was one of my first page keepers from @pages.remembered. I love it so much! You can use my code CHRISTINA10 for 10% off your order!
“You cannot pass," he said. The orcs stood still, and a dead silence fell. "I am a servant of the Secret Fire, wielder of the flame of Anor. You cannot pass. The dark fire will not avail you, flame of Udûn. Go back to the Shadow! You cannot pass.”
I think I need more LOTR merch. I should probably stop myself at some point, but I think of a fandom, look at what I currently have, and immediately think, “I need more.” I’m trying to be better about my purchases. I’m doing a candle buying ban now, with the exception of candles that are month-specific ones. Like @novelheartbeatcreations! I’ve bought all of the month candles since August, I believe. Did you see her December one? It’s Happy Christmas, Harry! And I love it!
Do you tend to like the books over the movie, or the other way around?

I need more people to read the Winternight series! The Bear and the Nightingale is phenomenal, and The Girl in the Tower is so much better! I love my copy. It’s such a beautiful book. I love the lore, the characters, the plot, everything about this series! The final book should be released around the end of next year and I can’t wait! Definitely going to be on the lookout for an ARC!
I feel like I ask this question a lot, but I have many books on this list: what is a book you wish more people would read?

“Asha glanced up. The look in his eyes made her breath catch. It was like looking into the heart of a star: bright and burning.”
I was blown away with The Last Namsara. Seriously, it is phenomenal. It has dragons, storytelling, and so many twists! It made me think of the fantasy novels I read when I was in middle school and how those made me love the genre. I was reading The Quickening series by Fiona McIntosh and the Saga of the Noble Dead by Barb and J.C. Hendee, which are great. This book reminded me of them. They aren’t similar in terms of plot or anything like that. They’re just great fantasy stories!

@penguinplatform Day 17 of #DeckTheShelves : favourite poetry reads
I don’t think I’ve found another poet I connect as much with as Rupi Kaur. Her words speak to my soul and I go through an emotional experience reading her collections.
Q: who is your favourite poet?
**Hey hey everyone Hamz and BB-8 checking in 😄😄** So it's been a long while since I have last posted, in all fairness it's been the laziness to take pictures. However I've been stressed out with Uni work (the workload is unbelievable). There has been many sleepless nights.
I had a goal of finishing off the ToG series before the end of the year and I still plan to. I've been reading Empire of Storm on and off for around 2 months now. I just can't seem to find a good time to read 😔😔😔. Seen many awesome festive posts around so I decided to give my own twist (plus I don't celebrate Christmas 🙈). When I think of Christmas I just think of chocolate, sweets, desserts, treats.
So quick question, what's your favourite treat?
It can be Christmas themed or generally
That's it for me for now, I do plan to do another post or 2 before the end of the year.

IN OTHER NEWS I FINALLY FINISHED READING CARRY ON YESTERDAY AND IT WAS SO ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS I GAVE IT A 4/5 STARS AND NOW I DESPERATELY NEED TO GET THE CARRY ON BOOKMARKS FROM @wordsbyjasmine -
qotd: what’s your most anticipated release of 2018?
For #underratedbookishmondays by @kajree.g.
If you like The Lowland by Jhumpa Lahiri, you'll like this book too.
It's Calcutta in 1967... and you can't tell a story of Bengal without the mention Marxist revolution and nor has this author.
The book is about the big wealthy Ghosh family.
Prafullnath, the head is seeing his family disintegrate in front of his eyes. His daughter, unmarried because of her dark skin conspires against her sister-in- laws; his son is torn between his sister and his wife; his eldest grandson has joined the CPI(M) and left home, leaving his mother in a state of distraught; his youngest daughter-in-law is treated as a servant by her own family members.
Mukherjee has done dissection of every family member highlighting the inconsiderate things everyone does for their peace of mind.
Even though I've read this book in 2015, there are times when I still think about it!!
The book is stories within a story. It captures the essence of Bengal after freedom and partition in the wake of maoist movements. A very sophisticated and intricately woven stories of many people, it highlights the Saint and Satan in all of them which will leave a mark in your heart and mind.

The Knight Bus - all destinations (nothing underwater). Seriously, a real life Knight Bus would be quite welcome in my world thank you very much! Especially right now where I would love a personal triple decker bus to take me from air conditioned location to air conditioned location, because I am seriously melting in this humidity! ☀️🌊 (this wave represents my sweat, and also the beach where I would like to be right now as well!).
Thank you @tania.books for tagging me in the #thisorthat tag! Everyone please join! ❄️.
•Read in bed or on the couch?• Both, and I also tend to fall asleep on both! ✨
•Male or female character?• If they're interesting and well written, then I like both, but when I am discovering a book I tend to be more drawn to female characters. ✨
•Sweet or salty snack?• Salty! ✨
•Trilogies or quartets?• Again, both! If I'm loving the series I will gladly accept one hundred books! ✨
•Libraries or bookstores?• Bookstores, because I like to buy all the pretty books! ✨
•Characters or plot?• In order for me to love a book, it needs to have both done well, but one of my biggest pet peeves are brilliant world building with one dimensional characters, so ever so slightly characters for me!✨
Wow, long time no see am I right? 😅 sorry for the disappearing act but I’m back now and ready to share some books with you all! Hold onto your hats friends because you’re getting THREE posts from me today. I know I know, how exciting right?
Anyways. I didn’t do a November Wrap up on my blog, but I did take a photo of the books so why not post it?
So in November, since I was attempting NaNoWrimo, I wasn’t expecting too much reading to get done. I stuck to reading shorter books including two poetry anthologies and a novel written in prose! It was a good reading month too the lowest rating i gave a book was 4 out of 5 stars.

The quote above was written by yours truly. It's part of the book that I have been working on for months. I wish someday someone would be interested enough to read and publish it. My heart never loses hope. 😊

Hello! Hola! Bonjour! Guten Morgen! Yes it is I, I’m actually posting on here for once. ••••••••••••••
I was just finishing my morning cup of tea, with my new Harry Potter mug (thank you early Christmas present 💗) when I remembered that I should be taking photos and thought this would be the perfect time to start up again

❝This is my December. This is my time of the year.❞
— Linkin Park ⠀⠀ I finished the utterly phenomenal read that is Love Letters to the Dead today, by @ava.dellaira, and I am not quite ready to review it, because of how it emotionally exhausted me, only to force me to have closure of my own today. I sit here, having brewed some tea, having written my own letter to Chester Bennington, finally ready to turn the page and enter the next chapter of my life completely.
⠀⠀ The gratitude I have for Dellaira and the people who helped her create this masterpiece... 🙏🏾 And this tea, the tea from @RiddlesTeaShoppe is everything for me right now, and as I sit with this finished letter to Bennington, telling him that his time of the year has come, telling him thank you for how he was there for me through the years that I didn’t know how to be strong and believe in myself... I sip it and I feel calm. It’s a different kind of potion than what I used to use to self medicate, and I feel whole having grieved, forgiven myself for attempting what he has done, and forgiven him for how he left the rest of us. May he rest in power and peace. 🖤
⠀⠀ If you’d like to get your hands on this brew, RTS is currently closed for the holiday, but when it returns in January, be sure to use OUTLIER10 for a 10% discount on your order. It’s great on cold winter days like this one, when your heart, that was once cold as ice, has completely melted, and more than the warmth of the brew is able to seep through.

»QOTD: Who else hasn’t read this series?!
»I’m guilty to say that I haven’t read this but the covers are so gorgeous! I honestly have not been reading too much the past couple of weeks which is why my posts have been so far apart from each other! I haven’t even shopped for books because i just have too much to catch up on.
»Who’s been in a reading funk lately and feels like December is just too busy for reading?!
Challenge Day 17: “The stockings were hung by the chimney with care” (#socksunday#christmassocks ) 📘🎅🏼🧦🎄 .
Outlander by Diana Gabldon. Ahh there is so much to say about this book and series! How can one not fall in love with Claire and Jamie? This novel is about Claire, a nurse during WWI. She returns home, her and her husband travel to Scotland where she enters standing stones that send her from 1945 back to 1743. There she meets Jaime Fraser, a Scottish Highlander and the long adventure begins. I have read the first three books so far and absolutely love the adventure, history, struggles and romance in this series! 5/5⭐️ -Meaghan
》 I really need to stop being so indecisive when it comes to my photos...
》 I have been doing bookstagram for a year and a half and I think I get too worried about whether someone will like a photo, not whether I like it. I am going to try a bunch of photos today and see what happens!
》 On another note, how is almost Christmas?! I haven't finished my shopping yet 😳 YIKES
My sister came back home yesterday for her Christmas break and I was so happy to see her! She also helped me with this picture💛
I honestly am about to get some reading and fall asleep. I’m so tired today.. I had an exam this morning and I woke up way too early because I was worried about my cat and kept hearing meows (he’s alright, it was another small kitty the neighbors took in a few days ago that had gotten into our garden)🐱
*QOTD: Have you ever rescued an animal in help?✨
How's your Sunday everyone?
I have read a mini spoiler about Heartless (@marissameyerauthor ) by accident and so I now know that I might be crying after reading this book. Which means I'll like it even more!
Just dropping by also to do the following tags as I have been tagged by the ever so kind @amatorlibri
☁Do you imagine yourself living a full life in a book?
☁Bookmarks, paperclips or dogears?
Bookmarks and paperclips to let me know where I left off. Dogears for pages with quotable quotes and remarkable scenes (I know I know. I just don't want to put sticky notes 😁. We have different preferences. But I make sure my books are still in great condition.)
☁Do you have a book bf/gf?
More like boyfriends 😂
☁Darkest book secret?
Besides dogears, I used to not read too much fantasy books but this year, I started to change that 😊
Any meal my boyfriend cooks 😋
As usual, if you were tagged, you're it! But no pressure! 😊
I'm currently reading this. I kinda really hate the main character, but I love this author and her writing style, so it doesn't bother me enough to put it down. The main character is really really anti-social. It gets a little to much. But there is a dude named Lipton in this book, and I thinking is the perfect name for his character. Lipton 😄. I also ate chocolate cake for breakfast! It was really good chocolate cake 😋. Also thanks @booksaslight for tagging me to do the #Hamiltonbooktag
•Character that is unstoppable: Aelin Ashryver Galathynius (I used her full name just to be more dramatic 😉)
•Fave Female Character: Lada Dracul
•Fave Character That Leads/Governs A Land: Rhysand 😭, he is the best High Lord in all of the land (but also a prick😏)
•Female Character Who Slays/ Deserves To Be Called A Badass: Amren *nods head assuredly*

•A Book That Makes You Laugh: All Andrew Smith books.
•A Book With Cheating: Never, Never by CoHo 😏
•A Character Who Dies: Tris from Divergent #sorrynotsorry 🙊🙈
I tagged a few lovely people! If I didn't tag you and you want to do this tag, by all means! Has anyone read this book or the other book by this author? Do you only eat cake for special occasions?😝
Today is a day of finishing up presents and getting some rest after finals😄
QotD: If you could have any power, what would you want?
Have a lovely Sunday everyone!
Heyhey my lovelies!
Time to feature my favourite book again 🙆💞

I love it~ 💖💞💖 QOTD: Well, it's not as much a question of the day as it is me asking you guys for help/advice!
I'm looking for a good name for the female lead in my story (it's a contemporary story), but am currently drawing a complete blank, unfortunately! Any ideas are welcome and I will love you forever if you come up with any suggestions 😅💕 Happy reading and have a wonderful day! 💙😊💙

Hello everyone, how you doing and what are you reading? I'm almost done with The Fandom by Anna Day, but can't stop thinking about Words in Deep Blue. Such a beautiful and precious read. One of my favorites of the year! 😍
