With the fall season fast approaching I've seen lots of post of competitors switching coaches. And I've just gotta give a HUGE shout out to mine! This guy....soooo much to say. While he doesn't seem to take on many bikini girls...he's always given me the tools and guidance I've needed to achieve our goals. Hhhmmmn...notice I said "our goals" instead of "my goals". That's because I trust in him. I think I know what I want in my goals and he pushes me and my body to the limits. I've been able to WAY surpass "my goals" because of him. When I think I've reached my best, the next round he proves me wrong. When I question wether I've disappointed him at a comp he reminds me of how far I've come with him. No my last 2 comps wasn't what I (or he) had hoped for, but he reminds me of what we are working towards. And when I fall short at a comp...I DONT blame my coach. I look in myself and ask if I gave 110% to the division I wanted to enter in. I like lifting heavy and I'm bigger then most bikini girls. I gave my all during lifts but fell short during cardio because of my SVT and was too afraid to get my heart rate above a certain point during cardio...that is 100% my fault. Moral of the story...do your research first, find a great coach, follow their plan and give it your all!!! I'm LUCKY af that I've gotten to work with @strongman_alex for over 2 years now. He's not only my coach, but my friend and my family. We do not grow in a day, we grow daily. When God wants to reveal His desired plans to you, He doesn't give you everything at once. It is obedience at every stage that brings about God's desired plans for your life. There's a specific place for everyone of us and we need to function in that area. What it takes to function in that specific area is inside of you, but it will only manifest when you arrive there.
