happy Monday y'all! ☕️☕️ im back in TX and ready to be present 💆🏻 for a whole 9 days, until it's back to the east coast ✈️ for another celebration (and fall 🍁 - hopefully).
this weekend was a blast, and my family knows how to throw down. a lot of eating, drinking 🥂 and dancing💃🏻 and NYC roof decks like you read about! this breakfast isn't me "getting back on track" on a monday morning. it's me doing what makes my body feel best, without a second thought (or an ounce of guilt... literally, no guilts given) about this weekends celebrations. healthy eating includes pleasurable eating ✨✨

I am so incredibly happy to be celebrating my milestone of 1,000 followers!! ☺️I know this may not sound like a lot to most people but for me and where I'm at right now this is absolutely HUGE!!! And if I've learned one thing on my journey so far it's to celebrate every win, no matter how big or small. Today I am proud of myself! 😊

Allen update: He is doing much better!😌He is eating again but will only eat when he is hand fed (haha Allen knows how to milk it 😉). He has a bit of a fever so they are keeping him until this afternoon to monitor it. If the fever gets better he'll be able to come home this afternoon! 💙I will be praying that things will clear up🤞
I can't wait to have him back, I miss him so much. ❤️It's crazy how many things in your house remind you of your dog and how many things you take for granted. 💜

After a lot of thinking and discussing, we've concluded that we'll wait for our original flight from Bali to Bangkok and just really hope and keep all fingers crossed that Mount Agung keeps herself in her pants for a few more days (are volcanoes a he or a she? 😅) Meanwhile I'm keeping myself busy with eating all this awesome, tasty food 😍This place was our breakfast-spot a couple days ago and it was so hard to decide what to get since the whole menu looked like a list of dreams 🎆 Finally landed on the banana pancakes with peanut butter and a latte 💕 Happy Monday everyone! 🙌😘

It's the long weekend so I got to make my fave egg skillet for lunch 👌🏼
Filled with all the good stuff - heaps of greens, mushrooms, protein, and a big source of healthy fat with my mashed avo and chilli olive oil topped 🤤
My heart says chocolate 🍫 and wine 🍷 but my jeans say, for the love of god sakes woman, eat a salad 🥗 It was soooo hot 🔥 here today it reached 38° on the coast and I think we all nearly melted. So for dinner it’s a watermelon and vegan haloumi that I made with my @madmilliekits vegan cheese kit and served in a #ecofriendly all natural @coconutbowls with their sono fork and spoon #dairyfree#vegan#salad
So it was a super speedy bowl for me this morning. This is my chocolate peanut butter avocado oat smoothie (I really need to start abbreviating things I think!) Please don't ask me for exact quantities this morning (I've given you a rough idea 👇) - it was a throw everything into the blender kind of morning (and hope for the best 🤞)...
This is packed with goodness, lots of fibre from the oats, omega-3 and protein from flaxseed, healthy fats from the avocado and nut butter and antioxidants from the cacao. Right Monday, I'm ready for you. Bring. It. On. 💪
1 small avocado
1 teaspoon cacao powder
1 tablespoon flaxseed
1.5 teaspoons peanut butter

To get runny eggs just place them into the boiling water for 5,5 min. Once cooked leave them for 1 min in cold water so they peel easier #LifeHacks
