After a few drinks last night I fancied a healthy but hangover friendly brunch. I wanted to try out @kithandkinca and went for The Energiser - oat and mixed seed sweet potato hash browns with spinach, bacon, avocado and tomato salsa (I opted to not have the poached eggs that also came with it), served with a Big 5 detoxing fruit smoothie, which were both amazing! I’m loving trying new eating spots in my new home 😊
Brunch today was my healthy blueberry pancakes seen as I’m off work. I haven’t made these for a while and forgot how tasty they are. If you fancy making some this weekend the recipe is on my blog at linziloves.com
Have you tried breakfast at @cubbys yet? Oh my goodness!!!! It is SO. GOOD. I tried the Brioche French Toast and it is seriously divine. One side of the brioche is cornflake-encrusted for a deliciously satisfying crust. It is still light and soft and I love that they cut it up for you. There are berries and dusting of powdered sugar with a drizzle of vanilla syrup. That syrup is amazing and not overly sweet...it reminds me of buttermilk syrup. Breakfast is served at the Provo location till 11. Can’t wait to go back! 😍

Lately I have been obsessed with creating breakfast bowls served in small @lodgecastiron pans. It satisfies both my creative and nutritional desires on many levels. The radiant heat of the pans is perfect for keeping food warm. They are never the same twice, and they are an ideal way to use up whatever you have on hand, helping to cut down on food waste. This one had scrambled eggs; kilt pea shoots (from the garden thanks to @kh_livingstone) with Sriracha; fried then roasted potatoes; garlicky ramen noodles with pimiento peppers; brown butter ham; melted cheddar; and radishes. @smallmeasure and Huxley seem to like them, so I am sure that there will be many more to come.
