🍓Breakfast can sometimes be the most difficult meal to get in - especially if you are rushed in the morning, have kids to get off to school, have to get to work, or all of the above.

🍌Having breakfast ideas that are super easy and require little to no prep or prep the night before will be a huge time saver.  These breakfast ideas are not only quick to prepare, but they are all loaded with protein and calorie counts are reasonable.  NOTE:  protein grams and calorie counts will vary depending on brands, and quantities used :)

🥪Here are some breakfast ideas to get you started:

🥚Protein Oats and Eggs - This is my current go-to in the morning.  I use a 1/2 cup of oats, 1 scoop of protein powder, and 2 hardboiled eggs. Approx. 420 cal and 39 grams of protein -
🍌Greek Yogurt and a Banana - This is as simple as it gets and is a great on-th-go option.  Approx. 200 calories and 18 grams of protein

🍎Protein Shake and an Apple - Another perfect on-the-go breakfast option.  Approx. 225 calories and 21 grams of protein.

🍳Scrambled eggs/veggies Wrap with strawberries - This one requires a little more prep , but I have been known to make this ahead of time and have it ready to hear and eat in the morning.  Calories/protein will definitely vary depending on how many eggs you use, what veggies you use, and and what type of wrap you are using - some wraps come with a bonus of some added protein :) Also, pile on the strawberries - super filling and very low calorie!! Approx. 380 calories and 14 grams of protein.  Add some chicken or other lean protein to easily up the protein count here.

This is oatmeal w chia and raisins and dried blueberries that I bring in a ziplock bag, dump into an empty cup and pour hot water over it. I buy a tea with an extra cup of hot water. You can put a pinch of Cinnamon in the bag and even some powdered coconut milk (Native Forest). I usually bring several of these on a trip.

Bacon-wrapped Cheddar Egg bites
Prep time: 10 mins
Cook time: 30 mins
Total time: 50 mins
Serves: 6-8

Ingredients:
10 eggs, lightly beaten
12 slices bacon, 1 package cooked to medium
1c Colby-Jack cheese
1c breakfast sausage meat
0.5c onions
0.5c bell peppers
0.25c green onions
1T garlic powder
2tsp onion powder
1tsp italian seasoning

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Spray your muffin tin with non-stick spray.
3. Line each spot with a strip of bacon around the edges.
4. Cut a few slices of bacon to add as bottom to your muffin. 
5. Mix eggs, cheese, meat, veggies and dry seasonings together. 
6. Pour mixture into muffin pan, filling approximately to 3/4s of the height. 
7. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes.
8. Remove and enjoy.
