Morning breathing exercises outside in the fresh air. 🌳I did not have much time to myself lately but I keep some time in the morning for some exercises I feel are good for me. It is easy to get out of bed after a 16 hour fast so I can spend a little longer on my breathing exercise and yoga practice. I like the crisp mornings in September and I always preferred a moving meditation with some breathing exercises over sitting still. There is always time to look at the changes in nature and admire all the autumnal colours and changes. Modern stress frequently remains long term. Traumatic events can create lasting stress. What happens if the stress doesn't go away quickly and the breathing volume remains elevated? Well, after 24 hours, your body adapts to this new volume of breathing, and overbreathing becomes your new norm. Overbreathing starves the brain of oxygen. A cup of verbena tea, an apple and a little Hawaiian music (Keali'i Reichel) to sing and dream to, are a nice way to refuel mid-afternoon.

Obviously, I haven't posted anything in five days because I was actually #sick the past couple days with a #cold. And before that I was pretty busy. But anyway, I have some new plans. Basically, I feel that now I can do a combination of activities that will raise my #consciousness and help my personal and spiritual development. I've always been #meditating, but am going to start doing #yoga, #breathingexercises, and eating healthier. Also, I feel that I use my phone way too much and want to cut down. Yes, I will continue to update you guys on how I'm doing but I won't be checking social media as often as I usually do. Pelvic floor muscle fitness is affected by a few things • not keeping them active or over working them
• being pregnant or having a baby
• History of back pain
• ongoing constipation and straining
• being over weight, obese or having a bmi over 25

I have been quite lax lately in my self-care; particularly my mental training.  Today showed as my #apneatraining went horribly. 
I started doing this about a month ago - 1) to increase my #HRV 2) just because I thought it would be fun to see how long I could hold my breath.  It has since turned into the biggest mental strength training exercise I have in my arsenal. 
Today was my just another 'dadme la muerte que me falta' (give me the death I need in order to truly live). Essentially, a failure to light a fire under my ass.  A reminder that the atrophy rate of mental strength is even more fragile than physical strength.  At the very least, maintain consistency and endure.

On Sundays it's a great time to do some yoga. Your body needs a day to recover from the workouts you do all week! I'm going to be honest here I rarely do yoga. Proper breathing for improved core stability. Most of us have a disfunctional breathing pattern and we don't realize it. We breathe high and shallow from our chest using the muscles of our neck and shoulders. This type of breathing causes neck and upper back tension and a lack of core stability.
