Mrs. Wiggins, our challenge teacher, meets with our GT students once a week to explore exciting topics and enrichment activities. This year, our students are learning about architecture! Pictured are the students with their newspaper bridge projects. They were a success!! The kids loved designing, planning, and constructing their own bridges. They checked the structure of their design by balancing heavy books on top. 🏗🔨👨🏽🔧👩🏼🔧
For some of my friends who have asked me why am I doing this and what effects do I expect here is some reasons why to bridge or in general back bend : 1. Improve your posture 2. Open up the shoulders and chest
3. Stretch the hip flexors 4. Keep your brain and heart healthy 5.strengthens the back 6. Alleviate back pain. 7. Stimulate the heart chakra. 8. Breathe better 9. Gain energy 10. Break through your fears⭐️. #bridgeaday#day30#bridgechallenge#backbend
Bridges. They're meant for every day use. We drive across them. We walk across them. Run across them. Some are old bridges. Some are ones that get used every day. Some bridges are burned. Some bridges never get used and sometimes there are places we wish there was a bridge because it just makes sense to put one there. Bridges were made to bridge a gap between two parts of land.
As people. We have the power to do that every day. In our homes. In our neighborhoods. In our schools. In our churches. In our cities and states. WE the people....have that power! Since change starts with us, let us be people who aren't afraid to be the bridge. Chose to be a bridge for your family, for your community and come from a place of understanding, acceptance and love.
Even if it hurts. Even if it's uncomfortable... build the bridge.... and allow people the opportunity to be brave enough to take the steps to come across it.
"Recipe for a great workout - a bridge, a couple of rings" 👉🏻Patrik kristoffersson. Had to speed up the movie X4
😂 Safety tip, always check how deep the water is and If There are any Stones near the surface before doing a thing Like This. What are You going to workout today?
Heading back to the city. Whenever I cross the #GWbridge I think of the #BridgeChallenge that @slaaapchop and I did on the lower deck. I remember almost losing everything in my arm band. Lost my health insurance card and a family photo that day. 🤦🏽♀️. Even though both of us fear bridges it was 1 time we both conquered our fears and got over them. Even if it was for just an hour and only over that 1 bridge. 😂😂
