my very first edit is for @zlequestrian. she inspires me so much and i absolutely love watching her journey with d, roman, now titan, ivan, and all of her many other projects! 😂❤️ i honestly am not quite sure how she has any energy left at the end of the day seeing as she has so much work on her plate, but i look up to her so much and her equitation is just fabulous 😍😍
Custom order that went out to Sacha yesterday, her new Juno style bitless bridle set in (what I have decided to call) candy cane striped and teal 😍
Sacha wanted this bridle base to be thicker than usual so we decided to use 8mm marine rope instead of the usual 6mm and it is lovely and squishy as a result! Customisation like this is available for all my products, if you want to know if we can do something different just flick me a message!
This marvellous bridle features a mix of striking colours with it's graffiti print topper. It has bright blue stitched cheeks and lime green stitched straps for some extra fun pops of colour.
There are 2 magnificent conchos on this bridle, each topped with a mixed array of fluorescent coloured embellishments to tie in with the bright colours of the graffiti - BONUS they even glow in the dark!! Size standard - cob/full
Embellished with silver spots.
The base leather was handpicked from our local Aussie supplier to ensure only high quality leather is used.
top tips from sara : when on study leave and you only have two exams left, ride your horse! much more exciting 😂❤️
anyways so that’s what i’d did today, i rode my favourite bean and she was absolutely amazing!! we started by doing lots of pole work, trotting poles mostly to get her trot better, also worked on impulse as well and did some no stirrup and by the end, she was moving so nicely!! we then worked on impulse in canter by doing some no stirrup work so i would focus on gripping with my thighs as oppose constantly using my legs to keep her going and thankfully she knew her job and kept the canter going for a long while round :D so i was able to focus for on gripping and pushing her properly into the corners with my inside leg, rather than actually keeping the canter. we then did some leg yields and got a system going of cantering a full circuit, trotting in the corner then going down the poles through x and changing the rein, then doing a leg yield down the long side and cantering in the next corner and repeating! we did this quite a few times and M was so so good! very happy with her :D
my sisters riding tomorrow as she’s got a dressage lesson so i’ll be riding thursday as my weekend basically starts tomorrow as i have my second to last exam but i’m still on study leave so have thursday off! however i am going down to the yard tomo to poopick after my exam in the morning as i forgot today and else from down the yard is doing it in the afternoon :)
