After all the years I've been photographing flowers you would think that maybe I would be tired of them. Nope, that's just not the case! Flowers fill me with energy and peace!

After journeying over the sea then being delivered to the wrong address (thank you neighbor for not keeping them), my book fairy supplies have arrived! I'm so excited! You can be a book fairy too- click any of the book fairy links to find out how! #bookfairydelivery
I have fallen in love with butterflies! I see them all the time now! Do you ever feel like something is put in your way for some reason? I feel like that with butterflies. Every day when I see them it brightens my day and puts a smile on my face!
What makes you smile? Birds, flowers, or is it something totally different? Once you find what makes you smile keep looking for it!! #butterflylove#annachipmanphotography#natureisbeautiful
I woke up this morning feeling pretty lousy. I'm nearing the end of the 6 weeks on crutches, I am tired and sore, I am generally starting to feel worn down and the enormity of rehab is sinking in. So when I had a little vent to some of my colleagues today, I wasn't expecting they would surprise me with a visit and a little something to brighten my day (note: they didn't bring me chocolate because I said only a few days ago I'm quitting chocolate ... clearly ... they don't know me 🙄). This little gesture brightened my day and definitely made me smile. Sometimes it's the smallest thing that can pull you out of a slump. Today for me, it was some orchids. I am going to pop them on my bedside table so it brightens up my morning for the rest of the week. 🌺
Yesterday was my husband's birthday so it was a celebration day around our house! What a totally relaxing day of lounging around the house and building Lego sets! Bryce told me that his favorite part of his birthday was being with the kids and watching how they reacted to everything!
Violet dug out her birthday candles, Paw Patrol, so that she could share those with him. Both kids helped me wrap their presents to their dad. They were so excited to get to deliver them to him and even more excited when he opened them. What fun it is to be a child and I love watching their excitement with so many things. I love to hear their laughs and giggles.
Bryce and I have been together for over thirteen years now, it's hard to imagine that there was a time before him! We have had many fun holidays and celebrations over the years but this one was super fun with the age that the kids are at right now. I love when the simple things are the things that make you the happiest.
Happy birthday to my wonderful husband, Bryce!! #annachipmanphotography#brightenedmyday#familyfirst
