Last night was a dream...scored 2 front row seats (entered the lottery) and won! I got to see their facial expressions, tears, even spit come out of their mouths because I was so close! Incredible costumes and story of a real royal family back in the 1900s ⭐️
So my mom saw deh (i didn't) when it was in DC, (she works at arena stage, the theater where deh first premiered) and according to her, Connor was originally a lot meaner, and when he pushed Evan, Evan feel on his, arm and that's how it was broken. Because my mom saw that version of the show, its really hard to explain to her why Connor is not the villain, or why his depression doesn't define him. The way I see it depression is like being drunk. It heightens all of the bad parts of you, so that's all people see. Connor had good parts of him, but we don't see them because his depression covers them in anger and sadness. This is really important. Connor feels just as unseen as Evan, and when even Evan doesn't notice him, he just feels so much worse.
wOw emotional much hA I'm not crying
