Cacio e Pepe 🧀 💛 Cheese and pepper. A minimalist recipe that has lasted through the ages. It’s so simple and basic, but so tasty! We are drooling over this perfect nest of Bucatini Cacio e Pepe. Bucatini is a thicker Spaghetti with a hole through the centre! That extra thickness gives you more of a bite. Tonight’s food envy thanks to @livinlarz 💛👌🏼🤗🧀
Tonight’s Dinner was quite epic and amazing (even if I can’t have vino right now because of my medication—we had pomegranate Italian soda instead), my cooking skills were at their peak tonight.
Here is a traditional bucatini ala puttanesca, served with real parmigiana reggiano, sautéed escarole, semolina baguette with sun dried tomatoes, marcona almonds and 12-month old Piav Vechia cheese from Italy 🇮🇹. One of the best meals I’ve made since turning my passions towards being an amateur Italian Chef. I swear, once I beat this mystery sickness that’s ruining my body, I’m going to full time dedicate myself to becoming a real Italian Chef.
