#freshstartsstronghearts#giveback#buildingwomenup#strength#dfitfam#fitfam#scholarship#getsomegivesome#coachmuffin "My fitness journey started in a very dark point in my life. My baby had just been diagnosed with a rare syndrome and I had been in a volatile relationship for years. I was broken, afraid and had no idea who I was at my core. Years of hearing I wasn't enough, had me believing it. I was being driven into a very lonely, frightening, isolated place. A moment of bravery had me agree to start a beginner's running program with a friend. I so admired her feisty, take life by the horns approach. That journey to 5km was so much more than exercise. I learned to push outside my comfort zone, I watched my confidence soar and my mental health benefited! I began to have clarity about the reality of my toxic marriage and realized I was enough!!! I was good enough, strong enough... I was enough!!! I deserved to feel strong, loved and respected. I walked away from that place and have never looked back.
I know without a doubt that running saved my life. My family lived in fear of getting a call saying I was hurt or dead. My family doctor was afraid that my high blood pressure/plummeting body weight would cause a very early death. My transformation through running and exercise was a gift and it's a debt I'd like to repay by helping to build up other women. Strong women change communities and bless their families for generations to follow. We have the power to change our circumstances if we can take that first small, brave step. As I started running, we would break up the tough sections into smaller chunks by saying "one more fence post." This has become my life mantra and is tattooed on my body. No matter how hard things look, if you can get through that first fence post amazing things will follow. I'm holding out my hand and saying "trust me. Let's set out to conquer fence posts together!" -Lyn Veitch, Sponsorship Founder
Since I was little pastors at different churches would call me to the alter to speak a prophetic word to me about my calling. I personally didn't understand it. The church I've been A member at for years has been the only church where I haven't had a pastor speak to me about what I'm supposed to be doing. I can say that I have grown a lot at this church enough to be where I'm at today. But I feel like I had lost my gift. The church that I visited last Sunday reminded me of that gift and let me know that I need to be walking in the calling that God has on my life. All I can say is thank you Jesus for sending ppl my way to remind me that You still have work for me to do🤗
Can you believe I almost lost it today? Like seriously 😒. Ppl don't really know your struggle unless you tell them. They don't know how you sacrifice unless you tell them. They don't know what you gotta do to get to where you tryna go. All they know is that when you post on social media everything looks great! Naw boo I'm grinding through the struggle. Cause somebody else need the inspiration. I'm smiling through the pain cause somebody else is going through worse. Im putting on that poker face cause God is using me to reach ppl that I don't even know. I don't move or do what ppl want me to do unless God says to. I can't even do what I want unless HE gives the ok. GOD promised me soooo much and #Winning was definitely part of that so I move according to his Will. It just is what it is. Most ppl won't understand it until it's their time to #Shine . --------------------------------------I just had a moment after a great workout😆😅😁🤗
This entertainment industry is so hard to get into and a lot of me and my friends still trying to get our pinky toe in the door. With all that y'all can't see that we do (12hr days on set, numerous shots of the same shot and sometimes little to no money) We get excited to get 2secs of camera time. I'm sooooo extremely happy to see my friend on this movie #truetothegame @mz.cami13 . It's motivation to keep going harder and keep striving to fulfill our dreams. Girl keep working you doing so good and I can't wait to see you more on screen🤗😁🤗

Every year I choose a couple of not-for-profit groups to donate my time to. I try to give them some images that might represent what they're about. This is @wzphysie which is based mostly in the Western Suburbs of Sydney. It's a women's only sport and it's something that my mum introduced me to when I was only 3 years old. Funnily enough, she didn't do it for very long but I've never left! 36 years on and I still love my physie because it's something for ME. It's separate from who I am as a mother, wife or friend and yet it shapes all of those aspects too. It teaches me discipline, persistence and poise. It teaches women both young and mature that friendship and respect come first and badges or trophies come after that.
It really doesn't matter what code of physie you participate in whether it's @apdaphysie @bjp_physie @epphysi or otherwise, we're all here for the same reason.....friendships, the fitness and the fun.
