So uh...WE HAVE A FRIGGEN MULCH JUMP NOW! @flowvisionaries got a backie 1st try, birthday boy @buildtosend & @dylan_allgor stomped some 3's, and the summer is looking SO SENDY! Enjoy but be safe everyone! Please fluff the mulch every few hits to keep everyone safe & maintain that PLUSH landing surface. Make SURE the rake is off the landing when done. Exit rider's right to the street-side return trail, but look up small trail before crossing while we work on a permanent exit. Big ups to our lead builder @flowvisionaries for both idea & execution. #bijoubikepark#bikepark#bike#builditrideit#tahoe#southlaketahoe#laketahoe#mtb#dirtjump#bmx#bijoushovelpimps#mulchjump#sendseason#resi
What an amazing mountain bike community we have! Just 4 hours before our Spring Party was supposed to start we had to change the venue, not only did the word spread quick but you absolutely packed the place! Huge thanks to South Lake Brewing Company for hosting the party and donating a percentage of the night’s proceeds to TAMBA, we can't wait until the TrailBuilder Beer comes out next week. Thanks to all the local businesses that supported the raffle and thank YOU for supporting the trails! Tahoe Sports Ltd, Chimayó BBQ Tacos y Tortas, Heavenly Mountain, OutdoorGearLab, Lake Tahoe Yoga, Alpen Sierra Coffee Roasting Company Mountaineers Books, Over the Edge South Lake Tahoe, Shoreline of Tahoe, South Shore Bikes, Sierra Ski and Cycle Works, A Cup of Cherries, Tahoe Bike & Ski Company, Visit Lake Tahoe South, Black Bear Lodge, The Alder Inn, Lake Tahoe Television, Refuge Coffee, Lauren Lindley Photography.
All money raised on the night is going directly into building and maintaining new trails this summer! Corral, Fallen Leaf Lake, Angora, Bijou and more...
Work started this week on a new alignment of the lower section of Valley View Trail. This legacy trail was adopted by the Forest Service after the Angora Fire, but during the past six months the lower section of trail sustained considerable erosion making it unrideable. As a result, TAMBA volunteers worked with the Forest Service to flag a new alignment. Yesterday, the Forest Service and TAMBA roughed-in the new trail and TAMBA volunteers will complete the finish work over the next couple of weeks. If you want to be included in upcoming trail days on this project, we'll have a sign up sheet at the Spring Party this Friday or email us. info (at)tamba.org

Come out and leave your mark on the park! We'll have food, drinks, and tools on hand--see you there! @acdelko #bijoubikepark#bikepark#bike#builditrideit#tahoe#southlaketahoe#laketahoe#mtb#dirtjump#bmx#bijoushovelpimps
Throwback to last weekends' Käppäpyörätradalla, a Finnish version of Hackbikederby. Here's me and my ride, a split-frame 90s' MTB tribute that separates from downtube and seat tube. The hydration system is a relic from the donorbike, a Marin Muirwoods downtube. Thanks to the sponsors @hugbikeshop @bombtrackbicycleco @goodthingsintl @keliclothing and the organizer @kongabicycles for making this happen! Lil' ripper in training! With rain on the way, please respect the trails/tracks and don't 🚲when they're muddy. Politely inform others when you see it happening so we can focus on opening more lines instead of fixing the current ones. Please remember that most people aren't familiar with trail etiquette or realize how much hard work these take, so be understanding and "chill." A little education and "why?" goes a long way!
Trail work in Tahoe has started! If you've ridden the south side of Tahoe Mountain in the last few days you can thank TAMBA crew leaders Bob Ward and Scott Brown for the work. They were also out today with Jacob from the Forest Service looking at a reroute of the lower section of Valley View Trail which is completely damaged from water run off. Work will start out there in the next couple weeks and we'll be looking for volunteers to help out. Please email (email@example.com) if you want to get involved in this project. In the meantime please stay off lower Valley View, it's a disaster and will only get worse with riding. This work should be done in a few weeks, then we'll move on to Corral, then to new trails on Angora Ridge and Fallen Leaf Lake!
