230kg / 507lb 4x5 reps.
Last weeks deadlifts at @simmcityperformance where the atmosphere was awesome as usual.
Using calibrated plates because using bumpers is cheating, apparently.
Worked all night and only got 3 hours sleep and no food prior to this session although they still moved relatively easy so it's all good. A little bit behind the bar on a few reps which caused me to lose some thoracic tightness when the bar really caked my body into position... will focus on honing in on that in my strength block starting in a couple weeks.

I used to always hate planks and that was because the only way I knew how to do them was for minutes on end with no weight added. Ever since adding weighted planks into my training, my other lifts, especially my squat started blowing up. .
I like doing 3 sets for 30 seconds and adding weight each workout. It is a surprisingly fairly easy exercise to progress in weight with. Give them a try! .
What do you do for your core training?
After a weekend of getting my life together and prioritizing my next year, I’ve decided I’m going to try and compete in the KC Classic this upcoming Fall! So a damn good leg day was in order to celebrate. I absolutely cannot wait to see what this next year brings me!
Leg day motto: I will never lose😤 Had the best leg workout last week and i was sore for days..Everything during this sesh felt heavy but you gotta push thru it.
1️⃣Squats for pyramid sets. Worked up to 335 for top set of 6 then worked down.
2️⃣Close stance squats on the smith 4x10. Not coming all the way up keeps constant tension on your quads and glutes.
3️⃣Lunges 3x8 each leg. I hate lunges. Straight up. I’ll be wanting to pass out after smh🤦🏻♂️.
Take the bad days with the good days. #TrustTheProcess
After taking yesterday off I had a killer 🔥 Back day! Doin’ my first #Bulk & it’s a bit of a mindf*ck seeing the scale go up 4 pounds, getting soft & learning to be okay with all the carbs. I love where I’m at, but when I come on insta & see abs all in my feed I want to start cutting! Which is why for a brief moment I was hesitant to post this because I’m not lean. But to be completely honest.. I’ve lost all ability to give a shit about what anyone thinks anymore and it’s the most empowering feeling ever! #opinionsdontpaybills#tookmelongenough 😂🤷🏽♀️
there’s always going to be the highs and the lows but you really have to love your body (and yourself) at each stage in and outside the gym. Doin’ that is a challenge in itself, but it’s so worth it. 💫
“Don’t lift weights.” They said. “It will make you look manly.” They said. 😂 2 years difference. Lifting heavy often & staying on top of my nutrition while living a life of balance. To any of my ladies out there that are afraid picking up weights & thinking you will look like a man... GET RID OF THAT MINDSET, i didn’t achieve my goals by running on the treadmill everyday or spending hours on hours doing cardio. Muscle growth comes from consistent effort of training, 5-6 times weekly, monthly... yearly.. it takes TIME. It’s not all about “how genetically gifted you are” I started with absolutely no foundation & built myself to what I am today. We all start somewhere, don’t be afraid of the things you may have to do to get to where you want to be.
