Meal prep is a very important part of bodybuilding as a whole. I meal prep daily and I eat steak everyday for a few reasons but most importantly because im on a ketogenic diet. Bulking for me means extra fat to take me to a calorie surplus but no addition of carbs. Im in ketosis but not in a deficit. Super long post coming up. #dmme with questions. Something different today call it #supplementsunday . I am going to leave thr science out of this post for brevity. Right now I am gaining lean mass so my calories are very high so the supplements are based around helping of set the tremendous amount of food I eat. 4650 Calories right now in week 11 of #bulking . Those who know me know I think food and good program design are everything most supplements do very little. You will notice most of my supps come from @blackstonelabs_official. These guys are pretty dependable although I am keeping my eye out for how they do without @theguerillachemist.
1. Creatine @optimumnutrition easy one one of the only supplements to go through long term testing. Helps you push extra reps and keep muscles full of short term energy. Only use single ingredient monohydrate the rest is garbage.
2. #Glycolog and #Recomprx are both food partitioning agents which help put those higher calorie meals to good use instead of being stored as fat.
3. #preworkout I work 15 hour days most days so I need a really strong boost when it's time. #hypeextreme and #dustextreme is a super strong combo to wake me up.
4. #bcaa When I am going to have go more than 2.5 hours without a meal I slide some bcaa in to make sure I don't lose any size.
5. Digest-all by @mrm this is hands down the best choice I've made for my health in a long time the combination of #probiotics and herbal blend keep nausea and gas down to a minimum and may even help a basic like me digest more protien.
