When mommy first adopted me , my foster mom suggested restraining me in the car via seatbelt or leash as I would jump all around the car and I used to cry none stop . As of today , I was able to ride in the car without my seatbelt and I sat in my seat the whole time without making a peep 😄😄 mommy’s been working really hard at getting to this point and now all that hard work’s paying off !
This is Hanx. We found each other, and now he's living with me and The Boys. He's been bounced around a lot, but the universe conspired for our paths to cross last week. He will be having surgery next week to repair his juvenile cataracts that he's had for all of his 7 years. He's totally blind in one eye, and sees very vague shadows in the other. He should have significant improvement in his vision. When he's healed, he'll be ready to go to his forever home. I'm trying to figure out how to pay for his surgery. Of course I have a great team and great hospital discount, and some of our suppliers are donating materials (and a lens!) but it will still cost several hundred dollars (at least $600). I'm considering doing a GoFundMe or something to help. I know there are so very many animals in need, and so many who need help. I can't save them all, but I can save this one.
