One more from yesterday. Switching back to an antagonistic split was a great idea. Choosing to do extended sets was even better 😅😂 did some bent over barbell rows with 235 and went right into my pendlay power rows to failure. Also did some 3 finger and 4 finger pull ups after every set!
Right now I feel in such great shape. Like, my energy levels in the gym are always sky high, I recover fast between sets, I do crazy intense 2+ hour gym sessions, most of my lifts are stronger than ever, I feel pretty athletic with all of my HIIT training, and I'm getting lean!
Two things: give your body what it needs when it needs it, and condition you body/heart/mind to be able to get through intense sessions in a breeze! I workout so long only because of how my workout and day is structured. I'm not saying everyone needs to do that. But you do need to push yourself and push your limits every time you step into the gym!
Anyways my rant is over. Resume your daily lives😅
