It doesn't matter if we eat all organic, or vegan or paleo. If our relationships are toxic, physical activity non-existent, we hate our job, or there is no connection to spirit, we will still not feel healthy or like we are living at our highest potential. You see, all these are primary foods, making the foods we eat secondary. Our relationships, physical activities, career, and connection to spirit feeds us on a physical, energetic, mental, spiritual and emotional levels. If we really want to be wholistic, we need to also think about these aspects of our life, not just the food we eat.
Just got this up on the blog today (link in my profile). My daughter and I made this #organic#glutenfree oatmeal apple 🍎 banana 🍌 bread with pecans, sunflower 🌻 seeds and flax. This week I am following Buzzfeed's "No Added Sugar" meal plan because why not 💪 I forgot to take pictures of my first two meals of the day but they looked about as good as the examples 😜
B: Ezekiel bread (instead of sourdough) with plain Greek yogurt, strawberries, and balsamic reduction
L: Veggie Frittata (I forgot to pack salad greens oops 🤦🏻♀️) in the future I'd prob sub some egg whites for whole eggs as this was high in fat 🍳
D: Thai turkey meatballs (my new favorite thing 😍) over brown rice with edamame, jalapeño, cilantro, and peanut sauce
