Tell tale, heart sail.
Little Bird was holed up in his nest that rested on the Sole Tree Of Life. The Sole Tree Of Life was the last remaining tree in a wilderness dominated by thick plastic plants and cold metallic wildlife. Little Bird raised his head and with underdeveloped eyes scanned the wilderness for Mama Bird, eagerly waiting for her to fetch food from the Metallic Wildlife disposal receptacle. Mama Bird had been gone for a while now and had never been this late before. "Whatever should I do? I could search for Mama Bird but I cannot fly yet. I shall plummet down to my death if I try." Little Bird told himself.
All through the while he sat in deep reverie contemplating the seemingly infinite possibilities of what could have kept Mama Bird away.
"I've always wanted to master flight; fly higher than LessLittle Bird and LeastLittle Bird. Mama Bird told me I definitely could, if I try." Little Bird told himself and prepared to take flight.
He looked down and scanned as far as his eyes could reach. He caught sight of Snake Person hissing and sticking out his forked tongue as if he was convinced he wouldn't go hungry for the day. A bit further down he saw an ever-growing river of Envy Lava mixed with Greed Potion and garnished with Expectation Shreds.
"I shall go out on a limb and search for Mama. I shall not let the storm brewing below scare me. I am brave. I am infinite. I shall fly.
Little Bird spread his wings and jumped off the branch he was perched on. His small wings flailed and fluttered in the air as he begged the wind to carry him into Mama Bird's arms.
Little Bird dove directly into the ever-growing river on the banks of which Snake Person lay with his forked tongue tracing the trajectory of Little Bird's fall, who slithered into the river ready to swallow his prey.

Little Bird is a song by Imogen Heap. The above piece is partially inspired by the title of the song.
But he who dares not to grasp the thorn should never crave the rose. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Photography is one of my other passions in life. I really need to find more time for it because it gives me peace in mind, I can really get in the moment when I have my camera in my hands. Unfortunately I was so busy with school, fitness, settling in my new home etc. But today I found some time and I got a beautiful bunch of roses a couple of days ago and I really wanted to capture this so I will never forget how special this was and still is for me. ☺️
