Here goes nothin', #jkinstachallenge ... I love, love, LOVE my #dayjobs , which include being a mom to two #crazy#redheads (the reason I even have this selfie is I'm actually holding my 18 mo old in the other arm, and I'm imitating the way he's wearing HIS #sunglasses , #upsidedown FTW) and working in a hospital as an #oncologynurse . But I wanted something that was mine, and helped contribute to the family. What started as an attempt to get a discount on my favorite #premiumskincare products, #rodanandfields , has evolved into a merging of my passions: #photography & running my own #business . Possibly an incongruous combo, but it allows me to be #creative in the only way I can be, through a #cameralens , while also helping people get the best #skin & #lashes of their lives. The best part of it all? The connecting and reconnecting with other people, both my clients and my teammates in this business. Some of my posts will be sales oriented, some will be solely photography oriented, and some will be putting those photography & editing skills to use to highlight my business. Follow along & enjoy! And if you don't have skincare and/or lashes that you #love , message me, I can hook you up. And in the meantime, let me know what your favorite hobby/passion is and do actually allow yourself time to do it?
#RepostSave @wevolverapp with @repostsaveapp ・・・ Professional camera maker Mats Wernersson has made a video documenting the step-by-step process of making a lens by hand. Wernersson also hand makes the lens housing, which requires about a dozen precision-machined pieces of aluminum. All parts except the lens mount, diaphragm blades, and the helicoid are home made.
