Decisions...decisions...🤔 Ever feel like you need a little extra to get you through the day?
Some days I take Boost...and some days I take Accelerator+. Both are great natural glutan free options 🙌🏼 Today I went with Accelerator+ to get through this crazy busy Monday workday, homework time, an hour of playing basketball outside after work with Haley, followed by a 7:15pm Camp Gladiator workout! 💪🏼 And fulfilled the rest of my daily mommy duties ☺️ Thank you Plexus for products that work! 🙏🏼❤️ Feeling amazing!! No jitters...and now off to bed! 😴
Tonight’s workouts included Camp Gladiator + a 5 mile run. Camp was great—one of the best workouts I’ve had in a while. There was a lot of wildlife out tonight. I came across several pairs of eyes, that turned out to be deer, and some rustling from this little guy pictured. #runtheyear2018
One of the best sources of motivation for moms is our kids. What example are you setting for them right now? Let your kids see how strong and how determined you are, not just in your fitness goals but in every aspect of life - in your career, relationships, mental stability, etc. At the end of the day, what they hear you say won't matter as much as what they see you DO!
Recently during a hard workout session with @cg_aprilcowart and thanks to a memory post from last year, I have been asked two questions. 1. Why do we do this to ourselves (in response to her being worn out from the workout) and 2. Why are we BOLD. (In response to my CG memory post.) I have several answers, but I’ll keep it short. I hurt my shins on boxes when box jumping or push my body to my breaking point on a daily basis because I owe it to the guy on the left. I didn’t treat that guy very well and he had a lot of issues going on and tried to hide them. I wake my ass up at the butt crack of dawn on a weekly basis because the guy on the left deserves better. He had anxiety, depression, and was generally unhappy with his life. I am BOLD because I tried working out and doing the healthy thing on my own but gave up at 8 months after losing motivation. I’m BOLD because I realize I cannot do this by myself and because i know the Amy Fords of the world won’t let me fail. Finally, I’m BOLD because I chose to finally focus on myself and said yes to a free month. I chose the closest location to me and had zero clue what kind of impact this journey would take me on. I talk about this all the time to my friends and sometimes I even annoy myself, but I have never felt this good about myself. This dude on the right? He’s happy. He is healthy. His anxiety and depression are both gone, he’s not on the brink of a health crisis. So @april_cowart, this is why we do what we do. This is my why. Why are you BOLD? #findyourwhy#cgwutwut#campgladiator

Good morning #Gladiators here's today's 5am #CampGladiator recap with @teamreneeallday. Kicking off #HIIT week or as I like to call it cold showers week! I swear every time this week rolls around warm showers feel like I'm boiling in oil! Thank Jebus it's not - 5 the grease this week.
Starting this workout with a warmup of 2 exercises at the mat and cone work,
then a lap,
back to the mat, exercises,
lunge walk to cone 1, run the rest, exercises,
lunge walk to, butt kicks , run, exercises,
Lunge walk, butt kicks, shuffle , run after cone 4, exercises ,
Lunge walk, butt kicks, shuffle, high knees to cone 4, run after cone 5, exercises,
Lunge walk, butt kicks, shuffle, high knees , power Skips, run after cone 6 on repeat 🔂. Yeah. That was the warmup.
Then on to the work. Military press and Lat Raises with your weights, All out Sprint Lap 110%, Back to the mat exercises and now you do the cone work from before but instead of running, It's an all out 110% sprint each time. I am NUMB. I see those little things you see when you close your eyes. Lol it's been so long since I have done HIIT. Gotta get use to this again. But I have to say I absolutely missed being able to do this. Nothing like this feeling or halfway passing out like I did. Swipe to see the video. Lol. I have so earned my juice box. Enjoy your #Monday People!! 💪
Pull strength. Grip strength. Coordination. Balance. These to me, are the most important areas we should be training for OCR (outside of running).
When I create workouts for @ocrbeast.co athletes, these often get the most focus. What can we do to ensure you get through any obstacle you face on course? How do we work on coordination? How do we improve your single leg strength so that you’re surefooted with every step? These are the questions I try to answer, and implement into my own workouts and the workouts of our Train with Purpose athletes. DM me if you have a question about your own training, or want to learn more about ours! 💪🏼 #TeamOCRBeast
First workout together (11 for me, 1 for her. Lol). So proud of my wife, she’s ready to take this fitness lifestyle head on. Before I know it, she’ll be dragging me to classes. Hahaha
Love you @onecoolmom1226 very proud of you! #cgfit#campgladiator
