Thank goodness for the first snow, it was a reminder -no matter how old you became and how much you'd seen, things could still be new if you were willing to believe. -Candace Bushnell

I have always heard people say "The camera isn't what makes the photographer" and I always vehemently agreed with that statement. I still agree with it to a certain extent; but dang... does a zoom lens help. 🙌🏼
Check out my little gallery wall in the van! I got some teeny tiny prints made of some of my favorite images I've taken over the past few months of traveling. Because they are wallet sized, each print came in a set of 2, so I was thinking of doing an itty bitty print giveaway! Before I post an official giveaway, I wanted to gage interest first. Would anyone be interested in winning some "van sized" landscape prints of mine?

So I’m super stoked on this Goal Zero flashlight. If you didn’t know I run a product review section on my website with products I use that you can purchase through amazon. At the bottom of each article I have the item linked so you can easily have it to your doorstep after looking at it. There aren't many places that make me feel as much at home as this spot right here. With so many unforgettable experiences in mountains all over the place, it's still easy to credit and remember that this is the place that lit the fire when I was a kid.
I live in Montana now, but I'm from North Carolina...so this week, I'm posting photos from one of the most underrated outdoor states in the country. If you know, you know.
I used to look at people who travel regularly and think that they were the lucky ones, that they must have jobs that got them the money, the time, and the means to stop get out and go; to stop double tapping other people's adventure photos they scroll past on Instagram, stop just wishing it was them, and start adventuring on their own.
Adventure really is just making it happen, saving some money and making it go as far as you can, staying in the janky places, maybe even just camping out, using some of your savings or birthday and Christmas money to buy that tank of gas to get you there. I have to choose to make time, to value a full life over a fat paycheck, to set aside money, to plan it out and make it a reality, because living a full life doesn't just happen. Adventure isn't far off or impossible, it's gained through deciding to make that sucky all nighter drive on a Friday night, so you can spend every single second of a sleepless weekend running around in 27 degree weather. For me, adventure is standing outside in the rain, looking out at half dome, with a trash bag over my camera and duct tape holding it together, with hypothermic fingers that can barely push the shutter button to get that epic shot. Adventure probably looks different to you, but your idea of it is attainable, and always worth going after. PC: @turquisti
Qualities that the @OKIENOMADS look for in a bus seat:
✔️SAFE- Each chair is mounted with original hardware in the same way they were mounted in the 80's camper van that we robbed them from.
✔️Comfortable- We are planning to travel a lot of miles in 2018 and comfort will be key.
✔️Not a lawn chair- We have been using a lawn chair temporarily and the new chairs are 1,000,000 times better.
🤙🏼We highly recommend safe, comfortable chairs that aren't lawn chairs for your vehicle.
“Sometimes you have to create what you want to be a part of.” In athletic endeavors, there are often underlying attributes that provide a foundation for talent. Mental and physical strength are the obvious pillars, but there are other forces at work which help to build an individual athlete's style in their sport. For Micayla Gatto (@MicaylaGatto), a Canadian professional mountain biker, artistic creativity is the key that unlocks her unique approach to riding. We all have layers. The layers create the makeup of our talents, passions, and work. When all three intersect, we find the true magic in life. Welcome to Intersection, where Art + Sport equals truly incredible individuals. 🎥@RedBull Media House @LacyKemp @Garretvs @DylanSiggers @Juicy_Studios @Johnwsmoke @RetallackLodge #AndShesDopeToo

On envoie plein de love à @mariepblais qui s’est fracturée deux orteils hier en Indonésie. Elle ne peut plus marcher mais au moins elle pourra se reposer durant les 4 prochaines semaines au soleil ! On pense à toi ❤️
EDIT: wow, these sold out quick! We’re ordering more, and we’re going to set up a form so you can sign up if you want and get notified when they’re back in stock. 🐶
All dog owners can relate. Dog hair, don’t care. It’s everywhere. #campingwithdogs @sam_frawley [link in bio to buy]
All the praying and sacrifice finally paid off in the West. A massive storm came through and dumped snow on us. Perhaps the sacrifice given up by @_allisonpa was the ultimate decider. Giving a little frostbite to the snow gods in order to inspire them to give us some snow in the worst winter we've ever seen. Thanks for taking one for the team! #prayforsnow#itfinallyworked
If you find yourself in the Keys, be sure to stay at Curry Hammock State Park.
It’s the cheapest rate we found on all of the islands ($38.50 + tax per night compared to $80+ everywhere else).
It has a day use area with a beautiful beach, picnic tables and kayak rentals $22 for 2 hours for a 2-seater.
The grounds are beautiful and the RV loop is stunning. Spot #14 is the best non-water spot; it’s the one we stayed in and while it doesn’t back to the beach, it has almost unrestricted views of the beach seen in this photo from the concrete slab since the walkway is there and no RVs to block the view.
We saw dolphins jump, a tiny hammerhead shark, and a man-of-war jellyfish.
Sunset Grille and Raw Bar has a Sunday Funday and was a blast. Island Fish Co. has a mean mimosa and breakfast menu.
We were only there for 24 hours but we sure sucked the marrow out of that stay!
Now, the Wades take Miami...💃🕺🏻
